Bro are you all kids? The viltrumites were looking for omni man here not mark. Mark simply happened to be there and after this they know it's true omni man had a kid and obviously he would be on earth.

Lucan must’ve seen Mark before he fled with Andressa and just followed him. Anissa admitted that they studied the Earth, so they’ve probably been monitoring Mark ever since Nolan left the planet.
