I was hoping someone would post a RUclips video about this Furnace Hoody! Thank you for posting this, it's helpful! Added you on Instagram.

I’m not a hood-guy, so trying to decide between the henley and quarter zip version for my midlayer. Since you mentioned owning both, what made you grab one over the other on any given day? Thanks

The Henley was one of the first pieces of First Lite gear I bought. There’s honestly not a huge difference, probably just personal preference. I just prefer the zip option over the buttons on the Henley.

The collar on the zip furnace is annoyingly tall. I didn't like how it felt... I opted for the henley as it will always be under other layers and I did not want a super tall collar to deal with.

What’s your height and weight for comparison? You run a large for most gear? Thanks!

Sorry, just saw your comment. I’m 6’2” and about 190lbs. And yeah I run a Large in all tops from First Lite.

I have the furnace henley in a large. Do you think I should just up to an xl if I want to put the hoodie over the henley?

My furnace Henley is a large as well. In my opinion, I would probably size up to an XL with the hoody if you plan on wearing the Henley underneath of it as the hoody does have somewhat of a slimmer fit to it.

Do you ever use the furnace as a next to skin layer or recommend doing so in certain scenarios with cold temps?

I don’t use it as a next to skin layer. I pretty much always have either the wick tshirt or the wick long sleeve as my first layer.

You should post your height & weight otherwise the size reference doesn’t do much good
