'Codependent No More' by Melody Beattie 'Codependency for Dummies' by Darlene Lancer For you codependents out there trying to get love where you are not loved, cannot be loved. Love your self - and take flight from the vengeful ones. From one who has suffered codependency to another - YOU CAN OVERCOME YOURSELF!
I’ve never read those books, but I think I understand. The mind-fuck of it is, that no matter how “good or bad” you are in others’ eyes, there’s so many people running so many games, that may or may not have anything to do with you and your value and tastes, but you’ll be “held responsible” regardless. From there, everyone is a product of their taste (“choice” implies free-will, in a world where people are instead thrown). But. If you’re actually doing things right, so to speak, you’re supposed to grow and move on. You shouldn’t have the same exact and only things for the course of an entire life (friends, habits, etc.). Things and people will be lost, and many should be unlearned and “gotten away from.” Cheers.
