avril wins best supervisor of the year award. she did an exceptionally good job assisting you in washing the parts. she should be promoted and get a raise in head pats.
Awesome as always. For a second I thought you might sand the HURTO label of the handles but I should have known better as you do the best restorations and keep as much of the original parts as possible. Just love your work. Cuddles to Avril and Merry Christmas. Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺
I just found the same thing (but much more rusty) in a very old shed on a piece of land my friend just bought. I don’t have the talent or tools to restore it, but I love watching how you restored yours.
Yey, more restoration with a side of cat. Here are some timestamps: 01:48 Introducing Avril, the fluffy orange assistant 01:53 Some fluffy paws up there, in the upper right corner of the screen, maybe trying to help? 03:51 Watching over the washing session, probably hoping not to be used as towel 08:52 Avril on duty, guarding the left side, or just being a cat 10:42 I think a cute fluff mistook the restoration with a fashion show Is it just me or the whole cativity makes the whole work better? Something like: "Hm, this part needs more sanding... oh hi there kitty, what are you doing?... And this side is bent, will need some hammering... *patting the cat*...and where did I put those screws?" similar to how spices work in cooking. Awesome work, and at the end, it was quite nice to see how the machine works.
Wonderful. The reason this is my fav restoration RUclipsr is because of how cool the machines are they always manage to find. Plus they restore them to be used again, not just be decorative, tho they still bring out the utilitarian beauty of each piece. Then there is Avril, their excellent Quality-Assurance Supervisor.
Thank you for sharing your work. All of these mechanical meditations teach us about the past. I watch as therapy after long days with an adult beverage to relax.
Ready for another one hundred years. The mechanical ingenuity is... well, an idea sharpened through years and years of practicable experience shown in this seed planter.
i watch this restauration with a little tear in my eye. because this was the seed planter where my dad worked with on the land. in my memories it was green and the wheels where red,and on the container was the name written in yellow. i mis only one thing, and thats the stick on the arm where the seedser coult lean on when you most fill it or something. but it is a beatyfull peace of art what you showed me. and i didnt no there where so many peaces on that litle machine.
Another superb job I just wish they were longer and more often. Avril, as usual, did an excellent job supervising and checking your work. Looking forward to your next one.
My neighbor Bittner, Ernst, who also had a seed drill for his small nursery. He has grown pansies and lettuce. The machine looks like new again, great work.
When I first looked at it I thought wow then as you took it apart I was amazed by many small bits there was and it looked complicated. It's nice to see an old or antique item being restored and then working as is use do. I like watching Avril inspect and give her approval on the way itis going and the end result
Is there anyone (else) that have already pushed one of these babies (or silimar)...all day long through the muddy fields? Now that's a humility lesson for the rest of your life.
Another beautifully restored relic that would be an awesome addition to any museum, and another fine example of a thoroughly enjoyed hobby. Keep up the great work, love watching your many talents and channel. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you..
One thing is for sure, a hundred years from now this old machine will still be around long after the junk made today has ceased to exist. I love old equipment. Well made and not designed with "planned obsolescence" or so the end user cannot maintain it.
Comme d´habitude, votre oeuvrage est une merveille. Votre "chassistant" a comme toujours tout à l´oeil et contrôle la situation magistralement. Bonnes fêtes de fin d´année et merci pour votre apport sur le site. Caresse à "Chavril".
I loved running my hands over the bare metal of my Grandfathers plows after he was done plowing..mirror smooth!..I’m glad Avril is there to supervise!!
I always thought I was unique in that respect. It's really amazing how quickly you can polish down plowshares and chisels. Of course, after a few seasons I would be tasked to drag out the welder and apply hardener to them in order to get a few more years of wear out of them.
Hi everyone ! Thank you for watching 😃 merry Christmas to all ! See you next year 💪😽
Merry Christmas to you and yours Sir.

Salve, Salve. Feliz Natal..

And it can actually be used!! That's always the part that makes me happy.
Love how Avril just casually walks through the shots, lol. Great project, great results.
LADB "Do you mind, Avril - I'm trying to film!"
Avril "No, I don't mind in the slightest - carry on"
😂
Imagine buying one of these after years of doing it by hand. What a time save.
Bet it was expensive as hell, though
@@peterarisz2150 it si isnt for the money though :-)
Lol. There are people in Africa and China that can’t afford this, so they’re still seeding by hand.
I look at these restorations of mechanical equipment and wonder how many models of this thing were there before, and after this one.
Beautiful restoration!!!! I’d probably forget where each and every screw goes after disassembling.... lol.
100% I would. Exactly what I was thinking whilst watching them re-assemble everything.
Nice tear down, fix and clean up. Beautiful restoration.
Your channel is the best channel in the youtube

This was the labor saver of the small farmers back in the day.
I really enjoy seeing old farm implements coming back to life. You did a fantastic restoration job on it.
Thank you for sharing your work. All of these mechanical meditations teach us about the past. I watch as therapy after long days with an adult beverage to relax.
Great work. I love how you don't hold the too precious when you had to drill out the piece to make the guide arm. True farming attitude there!
Ready for another one hundred years. The mechanical ingenuity is... well, an idea sharpened through years and years of practicable experience shown in this seed planter.
صرت مذمنة على فيديوهاتك !فعلا عمل رائع !!!!! وموهبة خارقة !!!
Only a video with a cat is a good video. ;-)
Avril is the supervisor and Producer

Ekim yapmak için en önemli icatlardan biri.
İlkel ama çok anlamlı bir makine.
Harika bir video eline sağlık.👍
Worthy of a museum, congratulations for your work and give Avril a caress on my part. Ciao from Venezia.
Always amazed at the craftsmanship! All those parts to put back in the right places so it actually works! Wow!
Hi Avril u did a fantastic job
Your kitty did an excellent job supervising this project. And the John Deere green was a nice touch.
😽
Your work makes me admire the original designer/craftsman who built such a mechanism 100 years ago.
Can't imagine how much time and muscle that sandblaster saves you. I always enjoy your work and end up with a working piece of machinery. 👍
Very lovely to watch this restoration tool. Have nice day farmer.
Another superb job I just wish they were longer and more often. Avril, as usual, did an excellent job supervising and checking your work. Looking forward to your next one.

Beautiful restoration.
Wow an old family friend friend had one of these from the 1920s that still worked great!
A piece of art! I love old machinery, built to last!
Oooh! I would LOVE to have that seed drill! Brilliant job!
Nice job. Very meticulous.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
You should start a museum, and show everyone all the old machines you have restored and give demonstrations about how they are used.
I have what to start lol 😂
The best restoration channel LADB Avril is awesome
Ótimo trabalho, uma restauração impecável 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
