Lang's wife wrote the screen play.
She was a fascist and layer joined the NSDAP.
This movie is not Marxist. It's just as anti socialist as it is anti capitalist.

I like how Karl Marx correctly speaks of the dehumanizing nature of capitalism and how the common man is reduced to worker, stripped if his natural identity, then in part two of the manifesto basically says "well since you jagoffs are just workers now, don't reclaim your natural identities, just change the word to 'proletariat' and serve us as your overlords instead of them....we'll promise you a stateless and classless utopia instead of giving you a human life worth living so that you keep doing what you do."
It's not very well masked, so unless you read the manifesto with stars in your eyes, it's honestly (and ironically) the best anti-communist book ever written.

Communist manifesto barely touches the surface of marxist theory, imagine thinking you can judge marx’s decades of historical and economic research and study, by just reading the manifesto and ignoring his actual influential work like Das Kapital which he was still writing and died before his could finish the series.

This is an absurd reading. There is never an assertion of "becomes proletarian and serve us". Who even is the "us" here? Maybe what you are referring to is the development of class consciousness where the proletariats realise their interests being opposed to the interests of the bourgeois. The goal, however, is obviously to work towards eradicating class divide, therefore not being "proletariat" in any sense...

That's one of the dumbest comments I've ever read.
