    I have the regular "behemoth" Reformation study bible.Fantastic.
    Will see me out.One criticism-the font of study notes below the ESV text is challenging.I use a magnifier."Blessed are the eyes that see." Luke10:23.

    I went for the condensed version - I already have the ESV Study Bible as my main study bible but I wanted a portable bible with some doctrinally sound helpful study notes. The Reformation Study Bible condensed fulfills that need. Great video! 👍🙏

    I really appreciate this video! I currently have a MacArthur NASB95 SB, Inductive NASB SB and Tony Evans CSB (my first SB). I have been trying to narrow my decision on a Reformation SB for a while, but couldn't decide which one I wanted. I'm going to pull the trigger on the full version after this great comparison. Thank you!

    So if I have none of these, should I just go ahead and get the regular Ref. Study Bible? It seems to have the best overall features, even if it's ginormous! haha. I already have the MacArthur Study Bible which I love, but I was looking to see RC's notes too. Plus, the Ref. SB has all those other documents at the back such as the catechisms and such. Someone help!

      I would recommend the Bible specific highlighters you can get. I have a set that are similar to crayons and they are much better than ink highlighters. They also don’t fade like ink ones do.

    I would like a study Bible with all the commentary from every collection of the publisher in one Bible, weight and thickness aren’t an issue. If it turns out to be 300lbs and 5 feet wide, I’ll still carry it everywhere I go

    I wish they would offer a double column text like the original Reformation Study Bible. My eyes have trouble tracking that wide single column. And with tendonitis, the big edition is just way too heavy, but that's the one I have. I'd get the student edition if it had double column.

    Now I have a question. Are the premium versions of these bibles worth it or should I stick to the imitation leather versions?

    • @PastorJeremyCollins
      @PastorJeremyCollins  2 года назад +4

      Great question.
      This is a Bible you will have for a long time, it will always be used because of it's unique reformed view.
      There is something so nice about holding a premium Bible.
      And if you think about how much it actually is $100-$200 is not really that much when it's something you will use hopefully every day the rest of your life.

    I have a partial preterist/post-mill view of eschatology. Does this bible reflect that view or does it still lean towards dispensational pre-mill?

    • @Kiikflif
      @Kiikflif Год назад +1

      Ref stud bible is leaning partial preterist but does not explicitly say so as compared to the dispy premil stance of Johnny Mac SB. ESV SB tries to present a balanced view of all the dominant views on eschatology but does not take a position at all. Hope this helps.
