Ive been on big construction projects that involve multiple companies and it took months to over a year to finish. That comradery when the project reaches a big milestone is one of the most gratifying feelings a man can have. You group of men through toil and sweat have built a thing that will serve our society for decades to come.
It satisfies a need to create and provide and be part of something. I believe its why men take these kinds of roles. We seek that specific feeling of gratification

The new one is the third one, they started with just 1 one-lane each way bridge tunnel, expanded to a second, giving them 2 lanes in each direction, this third one, when finished, will, unfortunately still notbrelieve the congestion. But it will help. I have many stories about the first 2 bridge tunnels and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, connecting Cape Charles and Cape Henry or the Tudewater area with the Delmarva peninsula from my dad, he worked on all 3 of them.
