- We had good weather and was able to get a good bit done. We got the perimeter tile done and backfilled, all sill logs are now on and started putting logs up for the walls. The basement access hole is now cut out and floor supported . You will see the logs scribed then notched.
Always good tunes, too!
@@KenBissell-oq2ns Glad you enjoy I try to throw some new ones in every now and then!
Hello and good morning buddy. We are new to the channel and great video on your cabin build. We hit the like button and subscribed as well. Have a great day and week
Thank you! Glad you enjoy!
Nice work
@@themanontheinternet Thank you!
Awesome job!!! Going with the notched system with full round logs and chinking...great method. I'm building in Maine with full round logs using the butt and pass method following the Log Home Builders Association (LHBA) process. We spike the logs together with rebar to hold everything in place so there are no settling issues. Adventure On!!!
Thank you!! I wish you luck on your cabin!! Thanks for sharing! Are you posting videos on RUclips?
Excellent progress!
Are you planning to be in the cabin this winter? 👊🏼👍🏼🤙🏼
Thank you! Yes we plan to have it to where we can stay in it by winter. I know we will still be working on the inside during the winter but our goal is to get it heated and the main essentials by then!
Wow! I have missed a few episodes. You have made so much progress!! I am so happy for your family ❤

@@shaneclark207 Yes log rafters I’ll put foam board in for the roof and probably standard fiberglass between chinking gaps
