- The Silverton Casino has a free mermaid show in their aquarium swimming among their rays and tropical fish. The mermaid interacts with the fans and kids blowing under water kisses and heart shaped bubbles. Great for kids!

Geez, all these commenters saying "fake" - to children it's real, and it's fun to watch. These woman are practically athletes swimming around in a heavy tail and holding their breath. Besides, it's about entertaining, and bringing joy to imaginative people

A couple years ago I was planning on going to this show with family. Due to poor planning we ended up missing it, but I’m glad that there’s a video I could watch for the same experience. I always like studying performing mermaids to better understand the art of mermaiding, and am currently practicing to be a mermaid performer in the future
Casinos are abusive, so my best advice is joining a network or going solo. Tons of opportunities out there though.

This casino has the MOST ABUSIVE practices in the city. I've worked a lot of shows and casinos and this one wasted 3 years of my life and made me need therapy. No professional mermaid will work here anymore due to their TERRIBLE reputation. And it's not just the workers either. Kid you not that tank works on DOS and the equipment is from several shows ago. I was sexually harassed here, the girls smoke weed in the locker room and use video calling despite other peoples privacy at risk. Literal high schoolers that they are poaching for this. I've had my air shut off as a prank. I've been told warm showers and fresh water are our responsibility to attain. 20 an hour and after 3 years of perfect reviews ended at 21 an hour. Girls just sit on top and talk to safety divers and when I asked if we could get tips they said it was tacky... yet the performers in front of the tank get one 🤔
I brought up the sexual harassment to HR and was fired on the spot. I moved here from out of state for this job and bought a house out here 🤡 Please don't support this casino and ESPECIALLY its mermaid show.

We wear weight belts of about 20-40 pounds. The tails tend to be boient unless they are the old ones... those will try to drown us.
