People have ZERO idea how easy it was to cheat back then. They actually ALLOWED these "pros" to bring their own peripherals to tournaments. Meaning, all you have to do is store your cheat in either your keyboard, mouse, or headphones, start up the game, hit the inject buttons and have your private cheat ready for you in a tournament. Used for split-second info logging into where enemies are and humanized aimbot. The rest of it is skill but their cheats give them an edge obviously.

Not only did this guy cheat with aimbot and ESP injected on tournament PCs from either his mouse or keyboard, but he also literally admitted to taking adderall before tournaments matches. This dude cheated in every way possible and people STILL somehow give him the benefit of the doubt. At this point, Shroud could pull up a cheat menu on stream and people would still be in denial.

I like that you don’t «confirm» anything, and explain how you’re just skeptic. That’s great. But I would really like to see you look at someone with great aim, and who 100% you know isn’t cheating, and see if you find these anomalies there too. You need something to compare it to.

I agree, he seems like he knows what he's talking about but at the same time, these could all just be coincidences from very specific clips that can also happen to legit players. I'll only believe that all these pros are cheating when I see a side by side comparison from another pro he knows isn't cheating and he shows the anomalies not occuring. There still are some really sus clips out there from pros though.

    • @pitchatan
      @pitchatan 13 дней назад

@@MrFlejon While i have no opinion about shroud cheating as i am not entirely convinced, i will however give my two cents on his retirement timing.
Shroud retired in 2017 (officially 2018) after having several personally lackluster lan events (despite having good results overall), what makes this interesting is that his declining results and overall retirement coincided with larger events hardening their lan anticheat protocols (past midway through 2017) where they started not only forcing players to use pre approved peripherals (i.e admins will check said devices and keep them locked away when they are not playing which has been a thing since 2014 after the whole kQly drama) but also playing STRICTLY on offline servers with no internet whatsoever.
These changes coincided with several new RCE exploits being found where you could literally inject cheats via the steam workshop and workshop maps (one of these was found a decade ago and plugged, but several more have surfaced since then and some of which still work today)... you see SEVERAL notable players at this time suddenly not playing as well anymore when said changes were in effect, and ever since there have been dramatic changes to overall play styles as a whole.
You can take the whole 2020 spectating scandal into consideration as well, as teams were willingly and knowingly cheating for months/years had no regrets doing so until they were actually caught.
Further more.. shrouds return to valorant in 2022 coincided (i.e 4-5 months before his sudden return to pro play) with a specific DMA vendor releasing their new firmware that is till this day still undetectable... this might be nothing, but i find the timing extremely strange as the vast majority of DMA vendors had to that point been detected within a couple of months and the rest within a day or two.
This would have no bearing on his lan play in valorant, but again the timing is odd.

Because this video is about Shroud, I'll add something more here.
THE c0ncept. You are doing super important job. As a father, I find this whole phenomenon of cheating and no one getting caught very harmful to our youth. It teaches unethical behaviour without consequences at very young age.
Couple years ago I was playing MM with some random teens. According to their voice they were 12-14 years old. We were losing and this other teen asked openly his friend to turn aimbot on. I asked them why they were cheating. Of course I was answered "for winning" and "shut the fuck up". Without parting with this kind of behaviour models, at some point these individuals end up being real life cheaters, criminals or corrupted officials.
In regular sports, we don't have this kind of problem. Decisions of playing fair or not are made at much more mature age. At least I can't imagine anyone selling steroids to 13 year old. Hard work and training are rewarded and results of cheating are publicly discussed.
Of course there was cheating in 1.6 and other online games when I was teenager. It was different, no money or fame involved. It was somewhat practical pranking. Something comparable to throwing firecrackers to your neighbours doorstep. Cheats were free and you got caught easily. Today it's different. Lot of money involved. Lot of these kids glorifying these false idols cheat seriously to become ones. Media and e-sports industry is definitely helping them.
I live in Finland and we have a great example going on here at the moment. This 18 years old player Jamppi is suing Valve over VAC ban. Well good luck with that. He's banned from Valve events because they find his other years ago VAC banned account. Guy of course explains that account was bought for his friend. Yeah, maybe Santa Claus played with it. Alarming thing here is that public opinion and media here support his claims and considers ban unfair because guy was so young at the time. What the fuck! Even guys father helps him with lawsuit. As a guys father, I would have spanked him instead :)
I really hope and believe that at some point, some ex-pro discloses this shit and gives our youth proper guidance.

As it is with every community that exists most people only see worst parts since cheaters stay mainly hidden from the rest of the community, most of us don't cheat to win mm, we cheat to have fun most of us are coding there own cheats or altleast tried it at some point in time, the true cheaters mainly hvh(hack vs hack) in non-prime or in community servers, i started cheating out of frustration that valve isn't doing anything about it, after 4 years i have coded a few cheats learned a lot about reverse engineering and how pc work (low level), CSGO is such a cheating ground because you don't have to bypass the anti-cheat to make advanced cheats, there are countless guides, reverse engineering is super easy due to valve posting source SDK's online (even tho they are diffrent, and now with cstrike15 you basicly have the source code), tldr. CSGO is great to learn gamehacking, most people that are cheating in front of general public are script kiddies that have nothing to do with most cheaters

It would be good work, if he would actually stop lying and misleading about many of these occurrances. And stop conveniently ignoring any valid criticism and spouting weird conspiracy-nut bullshit about masks and the corona virus etc. Wouldn't be surprised if he is a flatearther as well and blames the jews for everything since everything he posts and writes has this same run-of-the-mill conspiracy nut flair to it. Also don't forget he still has his video up, where he accuses a random reddituser of using lan level cheats after he downloaded some of his esea demos, which has insanely average gameplay in them. I can literally go in to my own demos and find countless examples of "infolocking", edgelocking", "aftershakes" etc. Curious thing is tho, i dont cheat. Very weird. Maybe TheC0ncept should rename himself to TheLiar. Sounds more true as well. Because he doesn't have a concept of reality, thats for sure.
      @GeneralOfTheOne
You literally take a SINGLE experience in your matchmaking history and stretch it out to fit ur skewed worldview. You advocate domestic violence. You literally sound like any old generation, whining about how everything was better in the past and the youth of today is corrupted and beyond saving, because of some incredibly cherrypicked examples, that aren't even remotely true.
I have familiarized myself with the topic of pros cheating, ive talked to cheatdevelopers and let them explain to me many of the mechanics of how cheat works, ive seen uncountable amounts of "suspect clips" and videos. And 99.9% of them are trash, people in it dont know what they are talking about and are basically just explaining how they dont know anything.
And theConcept is one of them. Best example is how he is using r_drawothermodels 2 to show when an enemy gets networked. LMAO. That is wrong on such a basic level (modelrendering IN A DEMO has literally nothing to do with when clients recieve information about enemies whereabouts) its painful to watch how people take it seriously.

The best proof that he is good and probably never cheating on stream is the fact he often plays games only him have access to due to partnerships so hacks can't exist yet, and he's always very good on these new games too. not sure what mm rank you are but none of these scream blatant cheating. I've played a lot of csgo competitively both in matchmaking and faceit, and all I really see in these clips is good crosshair placement and prefires. You can't make these assumptions that shroud has more info than he lets on without looking into anything else, i.e. info from teammates and the fact that in half of these clips he's prefiring corners he already knows enemies have peeked him from.
That aside, I have created csgo cheats - both for hvh and legit hacking (tho i obv don't cheat on my main, mostly in hvh servers). I'm sure an extremely expensive LAN cheat would cast a ray towards a player's hull once they are no longer dormant to check for visibility before locking onto them. You can even see the momentum in his mouse movement as he clearly overshoots - and to be fair he does play on a fairly high sens, around about ~1200eDPI or thereabout, whereas the average pro is anywhere from 400-900eDPI. If that was a smooth aimlock, there would be no momentum or inertia at all in his movement - it would move onto the player's hull and stick onto it.
edit: it's also funny that you call him out for an aimlock in one of the clips where he's clearly tracking around the wall. I'm pretty sure a multipoint aimbot wouldn't lock onto the lowest pixel of a player's feet (where it's guaranteed to miss) through multiple unpenetrable walls. You can clearly see his crosshair is still snapped to the wall.
The clip where he slightly wallbangs that AWP player through the box is also completely legit lol. Past that box is an extremely common spot for a player to sit. Shroud already has the info where the player is because of them jumping and firing a shot (through the smoke mind you, why haven't you exposed him yet?) at his teammate. In that situation I wouldn't sit around, I'd prefire the exact same spot he did.
All in all, pretty pathetic seeing a low level player calling out a pro for cheating lol.

By the time shroud was about to scope in their head would have been easily visible. Looks like a distance I'd be able to spot an enemy easily too besides.
46:55 is funny because it's a doctored clip anyway. If you can show me the original VOD maybe I'd believe it :) - but the enemy's animation state changes quite dramatically when you compare it to the supposed 'aimlock' - looks like the guy cut a few frames out expecting nobody to see any difference.

@@THEc0ncept so why would he cheat if it doesnt help him? You're making no sense. If barely anything happens it's because pros are legit and you are just witch hinting for no reason as you can not fathom the fact that pros are just really good at video games without use of external software. "aimlock will mess (my thousands of hours playing and training) up." yes, it does. you can see in the last clip, after killing the first guy, rather than holding the angle, he looks at a "random" part of the wall. he doesn't show the full clip, but shroud then forces the aimbot off the target, which sends his mouse far left and up making his aimbot look even more obvious, which gets him killed. a legit player would just hold the angle or get behind cover to reload/reset, or maybe check CT if they had more info.

      1. 2013- 2016 hacking, when you could cheat for low amount of money, bcs there was not a good AC anywhere (faceit AC was created in 2016 - 2017)
      2. For e.g schneider (fcking major winner xD) was using private version of polish famous cheat back then called Organner Framework, which cost was arround 60$ a month: watch?v=aeAMyljvsAQ
      3. So shroud in 2013 - 2014 was using simmilar cost cheat that schneider was using ( and was winning major with it LUL). Bcs he was using it, somebody noticed him and thought he is good ( LUL), so he was contracted by some NA organizations, then was standing in complexity, then got a fulltime contract in Cloud9.
      4. He was 19 -20 at that time and probably never was earning money before, so his first fulltime job was actually playing counterstrike for some NA organizations.
      5. He got his first money and he had to start thinking about how can he still manage to cheat online or even offline.
      6. 2016 year was crucial for CS:GO, faceit AC apperead and a lot of "good players" got banned instantly. Not sure but ESEA was working on their AC as well.
      7. So shroud had to think about buying cheats, or hiring his private cheat coder, to be sure that he can cheat at these platforms or even at lan.
      8. Average salary for playing cs in NA was good enough, for him to be able to do that.
      9. 2017, shroud is moved to bench in Cloud9 and started streaming for Cloud 9, cheating on stream in CS:GO got him a lot of viewers, he didn't expect that for sure.
      10. After organization saw his succes, they quickly recontracted him as streamer ( he had a contract for another 1 year in Cloud9, so they organization did that bcs they saw a money potentiall in shroud, even if they got like 20% of his stream earning that was still huge a lot of money)
      11. Shroud seeing how much money he is earning from stream, he decides to keep cheating on stream, mostly CS:Go back then. Later on he is thinking about playing other games, but he has some problem that he is thinking about.
"What if i play other shooter game without cheats and people will notice im bad and will think i was cheating in CS:GO?"
      12. Shroud decides to hire a private cheat coder, just for himself. Shroud is so unsure if he can trust him, that he is paying him 50% of his earnings, just to be sure he won't expose him and that he can trust him.
      13. Shroud coder ( let's name him Jerry), started his work with private PUBG cheats, the first game that Shroud was commited after CS:GO.
      14. Shroud is starting to play PUBG with Jerry cheats, everyone on his stream are so hyped for his AMAZING SKILL. Everything is going well.
      15. 2018, shroud contract with Cloud 9 ended.
      16. Shroud is trying to find sponsors just for him self and he's done it.
      17. Shroud is keep streaming and streaming, cheating in PUBG like a devil, finally he is earning 3 times more money then he was earning by streaming in Cloud9.
      18. He is making contract with Jerry, that Jerry will get 40% of his earning for the next 10 years, if he provides shroud with private cheats for every game that shorud wants.
      19. Forgot to mention, that Jerry must be really god at coding, he can't be an average IT student with 0 expirience, he must be one of the best coders that exist on this planet.
      20. Years are passing, shroud is still cheating in every game he plays, thanks to Jerrys cheats. He knows Jerry won't expose / betray him, coz of the contract he made with him.
      21. Who would batray the guy, that pays you 150.000$ ( at least) a month?
      THE END
      HAPPY END.
