Surgery on Natasha, the Amur Tiger | Sedgwick County Zoo

Natasha, one of our female Amur Tigers, underwent an important medical procedure at our on-site vet hospital. 🩺🐅
After diligent monitoring and careful consideration, the decision was made to remove a mass found on one of her ovaries.
We are incredibly grateful for the collaboration with the amazing team at @vetwichita, who played a vital role in this surgery.
Although it was a difficult decision, Natasha's health was taken into consideration, leading to the removal of the ovary.

Oh no! I hope she feels better soon I always loved going to the tiger exhibit when I was little and I remember seeing Natasha.
