Not only are the splits on fleek, but more impressive, for such a unison heavy warm up, they are playing perfect unisons as a line of 6 almost 99% of the time, which is something that most 5 lines are commonly inconsistent with. I'd say that most World lines hit about 80-90% of their unisons perfectly, most misses having only 1 player being less than a hair off. Especially common with isolated unisons. But even that is an incredible number considering how hard unisons are to hit cleanly and consistently. Bravo!
quads do 4 over 3’s starting on the upbeat and when the snares come in they do 4 over 3’s on the down beat! it feels like a triplet groove but it’s 16th notes (in groupings of 3’s) in 3/4
Now that's a great great bass line the parts the tuning the gliding . To the camera person thanks for knowing not to record a bass line close up especially 6 omni directional drums firing all at the same time many video cameras & camera phones are not made to handle it. This bassline should be known as La Machine !
What's up with bass lines in wgi using the same size bass for their top drums. It looks like they are using 18',18",18",18",22".24". I"d rather use 14"" ,16", 18"" 20"", 24", 28". Just a preference and matter of opinion.
Their bottom bass was definitely bigger than a 24” as all of them were bigger than the sizes that you said you’d rather have as they wanted a bassist sound while still having distinguishable individual pitches while also sounding good for unisons
ik this is a year late but absolutely lol, most of these are straight from Murray Gusseck’s og basic exercises but with a bass groove and parts shifted around between sections.
Best WGI bassline this year
Gomba Prime
no doubt
Except for mcm
Or.. Ever?
@@andrewl1726 Infinibass is best ever
Look at Santa Clara vanguard 2019 imagine if that bass line was wgi
It's not groundbreaking or anything, but seeing a professional 6 person bassline is pretty refreshing

I love every single thing they play so much
as someone in front ensemble, i'm genuinely astonished. S tier beats, players, and staff. I've never heard a bass line THIS good.
Wish I could have seen this in person. Holy cow.. Incredibly tuned drums, some of the most talented bass drummers in the activity. So good.
It was wild seeing it in person... truly fantastic
seriously one of my fave lines, like. ever.
14:58 has to be the hottest lick of the year. Y'all did the world a great service this season playing that well. :')
Girl almost tripped from hyping too much! Good shit
Man that SLOW DOWN MODULAR groove @ 6:10 OMG..... That is something written by God his self that is totally amazing and it sounds SOOOOOO wicked!!!!!

Bass Drums Rule!! This wasn't around when I played. Most there was was DCI
The medical outfits with this has aged pretty well. Imagine if this show was in (a still active) 2020 season, lol.
These guys are baller
YES ROYAL BASS. Phenomenal.
15:50 were those full line splits ever clean? Haven't heard it read once
The finals run it was titties.
HiImAWolf titties? 😂
It was absolutely nails on finals.
I like the Double Beat 9000 quote at 8:30
GOD YES
5:15 what is that beat?!
TheWEB roll variations
But basses play ninelet twos down n up the line
@@QkjajshsjajaCcccc I wasn't talking about the 9lets. I was talking about the sick beat after
Go to 5:15 what do u see

The sizes were all different, from what I remember it was 16” 18” 20” 22” 26” 30”
YEAH, BIG POOKY
WHAT'S THE BASS TUNING???
16:20
Why are bottoms feet separated and not aligned?
Aaron Mills btw congrats on a good season!
why is 6 in fourth position instead of second
It was windy he was making sure his drum didn’t fall
V slept on line this year 🔥🔥🔥🅱️
Anyone know who wrote the warm ups? 🔥
Taha Ahmed!
16:23 6 brought the SLAP holy fuck
Genuine question, is there a point skill based on the beginning warm up, its very groovy but seems like most parts are unnecessary
ik this is a year late but absolutely lol, most of these are straight from Murray Gusseck’s og basic exercises but with a bass groove and parts shifted around between sections.
Does Monarch play using roation?
Shmimmie_San I believe they use break
Why does sixth not mark time?
It was super windy so he was holding the stand down so the drum doesn't fall over.
3:50 i thought my cat was making noise
Superior tuning
wow
Oh hi danny
Greyson Griffey bruh
