  • Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Beijing on Thursday (May 16) for talks with his “dear friend” Chinese President Xi Jinping, as Moscow seeks to deepen ties with its most powerful ally. But the Sino-Russian partnership is not one that is among equals, and Beijing has the upper hand. International relations Professor Aurel Braun from the University of Toronto’s Department of Political Science explains why on CNA’s Asia First. Read more: cna.asia/3ypIYFx

Yep more exact. And in the Western mind the only relationship that is acceptable is where only one is dominating everyone else. So they not only give their useless opinions on relationships of other countries but also invent history to justify that thinking.
Peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation are not the words in their rotten dictionary.

Russia is not a problematic ' ally' for China. In fact, it is blessing for China. Without Russia, China alone could not handle the pressure from US and its client states. With Russia , it tied down US /NATO from targeting China alone, thus buying time for China to strengthen herself on all fronts. President Xi says the friendship of the 2 nations .. China 🇨🇳 and Russia 🇷🇺 is to last for generations to come ...
So, the concept which the west is always arguing...1st among equals or 2nd to none is never in the minds of the 2 leaders in their true and sincere dealings as friends for the good of their people.
They want to promote the concepts of mutual benefits, cooperation, and the policy of common prosperity... not the Western polices of hostile competition, suppression, and
oppression and the right of sanctions even against friends or allies.
