      @MONKEYSEEMONKEYDOGUITARCOVERS 7 месяцев назад +3

      @@SixStringSlinger1 that's funny because the dance variety band that I play guitar for, I've made more money with that than I've ever made playing metal. If you're a serious pro level musician that wants to make money, develop the ability to play country, country country rock, light jazz, disco,
      Rock, oldies etc. Not only will you become a demand by bands that actually work, the experiences will make you 10 times the guitar player that you already are. If that's not your bag, that's cool, but until you actually tried it you can't really diss it. I am 57, back in the 1980s, I played thrash metal and punk, the band had an international following, everyone else made money off of us, but us. Soon as I opened my mind and started learning other styles of guitar it opened up a lot more possibilities for me so that I don't have to have a day job asking do you want fries with that or swinging a hammer in the hot desert sun for 10 hours a day, or you could just play in a country rock dance variety band and make between 100 and 200 for 3- 4 hours of your time. Metal is for little kids and guys that have never grown up that are stuck on being angry all the time. I can truthfully say that cuz I used to be that Guy. When it comes to making money as a musician do you selfishly play what you like, or do you look at the big picture in real life you can make a living off of playing variety music and never have to have a stupid day job. Either way you got to do what's right for you, as far as me that's exactly what I'm doing. Peace and chicken grease, my friend!
