Yeah, I'm not getting the imagery either. The prisoner becomes an image of the resurrected Jesus, who appears to save the prisoner and the nun from their sins by dying in their stead. But in scripture, there is no notion of Jesus (or anybody else) dying in a fire. The knight has 3 arrows in his back - a certain death sentence by medieval standards, yet it doesn't seem to even slow him down. "Rana" is the Spanish word for frog, but I don't really get the frog image. The frog is dead, yet gave birth to the priest. So I'm with the other commenters below. It was certainly well shot and well made, but as far as the storyline goes, I have not takeaways. I'm not quite sure what I just watched.
