(Llorando) porque por fin después de tantos años de estudio e inglés por fin pude escuchar por primera vez esta bella alabanza y entenderla al 100% como si estuviera escuchandola en español se que suena exagerado pero lloro porque no saben lo difícil que es estar en un país extranjero y no poder entender o hablar inglés simplemente ahora escuchar alabanzas que antes solo las cantaba pero sin saber pronunciarlas o tener que traducirlas y ahora entenderlo super bien es una bella sensacion que solo los que han pasado por esto entenderán. I treated my wife so bad and cheated. Today when I woke up my wife was playing this song and it broke my heart knowing how much I love Christ and my marriage. I took a step of moving away from evil and love my wife the way Christ loved His church. This song changed me so much
I miss this. There’s a pureness here that I can’t put my finger on but at the same time it’s completely evident. Many Pentecostal churches these days have become performance focused without realizing it, relying on backing tracks and loops and whatever else...on Sunday morning! I feel it’s because there are more worship ‘singles’ than worship ‘songs’ being written these days, needlessly overproduced and many of them ain’t really that congregational. It’s time to ditch the backing tracks in church and get back to free, unconfined worship.

Amen to that ... was a church bassist and backing vocalist for 15 years ... was pre recorded tracks that helped drive me away from wanting to continue in that service .

@@theloniouscoltrane3778 a local church in the state of Arkansas called Family Church ... a congregation that fluctuated between 1500 and 3000 members. Left in 2014 ... was partially due to me relocating to another town , but I was terribly disenchanted with the format at that point and would have stepped down regardless.
Don't think the pureness is coming back,we all luv the sound too much,also , check out who owns the copyright to the music ,it's big companies like Sony, CBS,etc.Tthe church leadership has sold out and just like politicians ,never tell us the real truth

We, as humans, are vulnerable to sin. We fall sometimes but the loving mercy of God is upon those who are with a contrite spirit. We are bad in nature without God. Darkness invades those who have a haughty spirit. We must humble ourselves before God and admit that we are sinners. I pray that you will find Jesus on your way.

From the age of 9 when my dad and I discovered hillsong, until today he still calls me Darlene,, that's how much you ministered to our lives. I sang a song from the album when we had to perform a talent we had in class, they didn't understand and thought i was weird, today I'm deep rooted in Christ
The "Blessed" album will always be the best Hillsong album ever. Its where they started transitioning from classic to modern worship, so you got the best of both. #nostalgic

I thought the transition started at "For this Cause" since the overdriven electric guitars were more prominent there. But I agree, "Blessed" is the best, if not among their best.

I am humbly asking for your prayers bros. & sister for my younger brother who tested HIV positive and now he has tuberculosis and his body is getting thinner and weaker... I pray for his healing (miracle) and most especially his salvation before it's too late..
Trying to reach out to him but he's not answering to any of my text or call, same with my mother (both aren't Christian). The only one's replying is my younger sister who's the Christian in their household. Thank you. God bless.

Played this 20 years ago with my church peeps and miss it because it's no longer "current".
Back when there was still light in the sanctuary during worship. No smoke effect like some worldly concert. Back when you can see your fellow men worshipping. Our churches compromised, they slightly imitated the world to bring people and the true essence of worship is dying.
I started playing guitar and learn english worship songs due to this album. This album certainly had something special however present day hillsong lack that charm.

Wow...completely flash backed to when my old church did this song for a DVD and I was in the choir. Hillsong just isn’t the same without Darlene. She brought genuine praise and worship versus now it’s just about creating the catchiest tune.
