Exam averages where on mid-30s (before curve) and we didn’t know where we at with our grades until he actually released the letter grade at the end of the quarter, never stopped to answer questions, went off topic when he was explaining difficult material (synthesis was a nightmare with him), straight out told student on his first lecture that the only way to get out of an exam is if you were in the hospital fighting for your life (and he was true to his standards), hated teaching only taught p-chem because he had to teach a class, etc etc. wow, sorry, I definitely had some issues that I needed to get out lol. But he definitely loved chalk 😂
The last guy followed through completely. He follows the recipe. No short cuts, no fancy approach, no special hidden talent he tried to use to show off. He kept it simple.
He learned from his first attempt and started just a little lower and to the left; that way when he came around to finish, he wasn’t in such an awkward position. Also helps that he was lanky & flexible. Ok now time for bed 😅
