Ruth Negga Talks "Passing", Broadway & Dreaming

Ruth Negga has teamed up with Rebecca Hall and Tessa Thompson for "Passing".
"Passing" follows the unexpected reunion of two high school friends (Ruth and Tessa) , whose renewed acquaintance ignites a mutual obsession that threatens both of their carefully constructed realities.
Ruth chats to me about why she was going to do everything she could to be a part of this film; why this 1929 is so current; the many themes of the film; the importance to giving platforms to many voices; MacBeth on Broadway with Daniel Craig; allowing yourself to dream big; and the importance of home and belonging.
"Passing" is in cinemas now and will be streaming on Netflix from November 10.
