    Does Dailpad have and auto dialer feature so you can automatically and rapidly dial a group of contacts in a list?

    • @cloudsherpa
      @cloudsherpa  3 года назад

      Dialpad does have some outbound dialing capabilities. However, Dialers are an entirely separate discussion since they are heavily scrutinized and governed by the FCC. They must adhere to TCPA regulations as well as Do Not Call (DNC) lists. Feel free to reach out to us and we can try to point you in the right direction.

    Can you call to Us numbers from Abroad using just the software? I mean, if I'm on a trip abroad , and I need to call my customers during a period of time, can I call them to their phones and their landlines just using the software my Laptop and internet connection?

    • @cloudsherpa
      @cloudsherpa  3 года назад +1

      Short answer is "Maybe". It will depend on the data connection that you're using abroad to access your application, thus allowing you to make calls via the app. Some countries have restrictions on using VoIP applications over the internet (i.e. UAE, Russia, China, etc.). In theory, if your internet connection (4G/5G or Coax, Fiber, etc.) is not regulated, it should work fine.

    Hello, If we have a team of 5 people, do we need Pro service or it has to be a contact center? They are scattered in US and Philippines.

    • @cloudsherpa

      You can certainly set-up the system yourself. Dialpad isn't exactly the easiest system to set up on your own. However, they will do a remote walkthrough for your company. As for Contact Center, Dialpad has a nice lite Contact Center that will not require extra licensing. Feel free to reach out to our team if you need assistance. info@vocalpointconsulting.com

    Can I intergrate dialpad with salesforce if with my current subscription? or do I need to pay the dialpad inside salesforce?

      Dialpad does have an integration with Salesforce. You would certainly have to pay licensing fees on both applications.

    Appreciate the video and the interview. I stumbled across it today doing some additional research on Dialpad as I'm currently evaluating it during the 14-day trial period for our business. As a PR firm, we don't do "sales calls" or handle call center volume, so while the evaluation has been so far, so good, what I've noticed is that Dialpad seems to be more tailored to those sales-centric areas. Is it just me or would that be a fair assessment?

    • @cloudsherpa

      Hey Larry, I don't know how big your company is, but I can tell you that we use Dialpad internally for our team of 5 people and it works well for us. You can certainly use Dialpad as a simplified phone system without tapping into all the bells and whistles, including call center applications. We work with over 250+ cloud solutions and we're constantly evaluating different providers for our clients. At the end of the day it all depends on how you want to use the platform, what applications you want to integrate with, and how you want to communicate with your employees and your customers. What other platforms have you looked at?

      @@cloudsherpa thanks for the response - we're a team of 3 so right now it's a simplified phone system, and the cloud/mobility and cost is what attracted me initially. Our only integration is with O365. But I'm drawn to switching us to Workspace (GSuite) as the integration seems to be potentially more dynamic(?) - but I can't find many real-world comparisons to go by from other firms/businesses - meaning: I haven't found a review from Company A or User X who shared "here's our experience with it in Workspace compared to our experience in O365." I'm tempted to do it myself just to see.
      Now granted, you posted this in September, but Geoff's teaser comments about Teams integration was also very interesting to me, as we use MS Teams A LOT. The AI functionality was a draw for me, especially in our field where we deal with media and other MARCOM type folks, so having that AI-transcription capability was something I wanted to see how to make it work further for us.

    • @cloudsherpa
      @cloudsherpa  3 года назад +1

      @@larryelwood2868 Dialpad's transcription isn't 100% perfect, but if you want to track keywords and customer sentiment it's pretty cool. Otherwise, if you want to integrate with Teams, you may want to look at 8x8 or Momentum. They have both made a lot progress in that area over the last couple of years. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you need some more guidance. We're happy to help. derek@vocalpointconsulting.com
