I think filament that's not the same colour as the paint is also useful in helping see what parts are still left unpainted. Also, is it scrap if it doesn't matter what colour is used?

So it doesn’t really have any use, so why not use the scrap Fila to cover up some parts if those parts are gonna be covered by paint anyway? It’s not like anyone’s gonna see the red & green Fila you used.
I found this video soothing with the soft music, the subtle noises of the pen at work in the background, the clicking and clipping of the wire-like pieces. I admire your patience and attentiveness with this project. The idea was brilliantly brought to life and I would so pay to have one of these in my room. It's adorable. I love how you work your way up with all the little imperfect squiggly lines through smoothening and sanding into such a refined final product. And it's all quite simple techniques as well, just with a whole lot of dedication behind them.
