- Just your basic signature Next Oakland lift though luckily this one isn’t running as bad as some of the other Next shops I have been to. Ground floor button light has gone out though.
Controller - MicroSmart PLC microprocessor controller
Brand - Oakland Excelsior Ltd
Mechanism - roped single ram hydraulic with motor room
Type/designation - multi purpose passenger/goods lift (primarily used for goods, buggies and wheelchairs)
Doors - 2 sets of Selcom centre opening sliding automatic doors
Door Safety sensors - Memco
Safety features - interlocking doors with safety sensors, safety beams in lift doors etc
DDA features - accessible fixtures, voice and indicators, powered doors, flat loading access
Fixtures - Dewhurst
Floors - 2(G, 1)(front doors open out into the public area and the rear floors open into the staff only part which is locked off with a key)
Access control - key switch operated staff only floors
Maintenance company - Foster & Cross
Car capacity - 1600 kg 21 persons

This shop has now closed down because it moved to where the old Halfords is.
It has yes, I’ll hopefully be able to go over and see if there’s a new lift there.
