  • Zum Rittersturz is a medieval-themed flume ride at Wild-und Freizeitpark Klotten. Originally built by ABC Rides in 2012, this water ride opened with incomplete theming. Over the years, a dark ride section was added and the exterior theming was finally finished in 2020. This augmented a ride that already featured a vertical lift and a coaster drop.

    That stormy background made it look even better. Great video and ride.

    The trim wasn't active when I rode it so it gave some nice airtime. This park has the best Gerstlauer Bobsled coaster imo

      The trim is usually active on colder / rainy days in an attempt to make it less wet for riders, I was caught off guard by it in 2021 because I rarely ride it unless it´s a warm summer day and on days like that it was never active so far.

      The trim was brutal when I rode it.

    I don’t care what anyone says, this is a coaster

      I don't consider it one, but I understand the argument.

    I like the theming, but it just hurts seeing that exposed Elevator lift. Also, maybe they can add like some theming so it isn’t so barebones.

      I don't mind the exposed lift since the views are fantastic.

      @@CanobieCoaster I think they should just enclose the lift, and then leave the trimmed dip and drop outdoors with some of the mechanical parts covered by theming but that’s just my opinion

    How many other trim brakes on rides and coasters did you dread? Examples:

      I dislike a lot of trims. Examples include the one on Stampida.

    I’m surprised this isn’t on rcdb to be honest.

      They only seem to list rides when the drop is outside the main sequence (ex. Turn in between).

    • @Kittyhat
      @Kittyhat 2 года назад +1

      Yeah they only count rides that have a coasting turn as well as an unpowered uphill moment, so they'll never count ripsaw falls. Except they still count superman escape from krypton lmfaooo

      @CONGTHEGUERILLA 2 года назад

      @@Kittyhat they count butterflies too which are almost simpler than Superman. It’s really just the opinion of a old British dude it’s not the authority on anything. This is a roller coaster

      @@Kittyhat weird, they still omit several other Supersplashes. The one at Cinecitta World in Italy has both a coasting turn and a speed hill. Rcdb never fails to confuse me
