yea its a recent updated trick that was inconsistent at launch -> patched along with the water immunity from past runs -> reverted on the latest language subtitle update. These are Connection Flings where you (in xbox controls): Hold B while the connection animation makes its way to the cloud and as you are approaching the end of the connection, jump and it will take all the momentum from the connection speed.
