Raiden's Wish Granted By Make-A-Wish and AZDPS

- Raiden Aguilera's wish is to one day be a SWAT Operator. On December 7, 2017, the Arizona Department of Public Safety's SWAT team made this wish come true! The SWAT team went above and beyond what Raiden and his family expected for their Wish Day. Starting at the AZDPS hangar, the team showed him the different planes and helicopters used by the Department... then surprised him with a full mock mission! Raiden was sworn in by AZDPS Director Col. Frank Milstead and was off to rescue a couple of huggable hostages! From flying in the helicopter, to taking down the "bad guys", Raiden truly was a SWAT Operator that day. Watch the video below for a full recap of Raiden's wish coming true!

Y’all have hearts of gold for this, it takes a lot to be swat in the first place, but being that involved and using all of those resources and time to help a child with their wish is amazing. Thank you for all the work you all do

To know that these officers, whom face very dangerous situations...as part of their job. Whom leave their homes each day, not knowing if they are going to return home to their families. My sister had a disease that killed her she had a make a wish trip from Minnesota to California.

It’s heart-warming to know that’s the swat team has made a suffering child’s dream. It’s sad he passed away, It’s very sad. He looked very happy and super excited. I am honestly super happy he got to live his dreams before he died. Rest In Peace Raiden Aguilera, You will be missed.
