The belting in the last part of Ghost Love Score are like the whole song Ever Dream.

i particularly liked that heartwarming smile she offered to the audience at the outset. when you said you introduced her to the other vocalist, did you mena Annete or Tarja, because if she has not heard Tarja's iconic operatic approach she is missing something very special
I introduced her to random artist on the channel but she hasn't heard any of tarja stuff yet which might be fun because I've honestly barely heard her 😭 which live performances would you recommend??
Tarja does her own beautiful version of ever dream., a version of phantom of the opera with Marco, the base player, as well as a song called sleeping sun, and into the sun.all of these really show off her beautiful operatic voice
This track is my favorite out of the ones that aren't the three big epics. Floor's power has no trouble meeting the band's volume, no matter what they do.

Marko has said that Kai's style is different than Jukka's or Pecu Cinnari's (of Tarot) and also he had to change his playing style a bit to go together with Kai's style, leaning more forward than before.
Also his comparison was that Kai is the Ian Paice of Nightwish when Jukka was their John Bonham

I saw (Kubric's) Shining for so many years ago, probably was 14 or 15 at the time, and I didn't sleep on that night for a minute! But I have always loved Stephen King books though and I have read them all which are translated in Finnish (about 60, I guess?) Books are always so much better, and mister King has so funny sense of humor too. He can scare the shit out you but he can also make you laugh. So in the books there's usually some good balance between screaming and laughing.
I started to like more of those song where Troy plays his pipes: Elan, My Walden, Last of the Wilds (instrumental)

Jukka has bigger moves i think, more showmanship ;).
Jukka was one of the hardest hitters in metal. A brilliant drummer and showman. Kai is technically perfect. A great replacement.

@@ericbraun4652 And I like that Jukka had a legitimate reason for leaving and that he is still working with the band on the business end. It wasn't another ugly split that has to get played out in the press and upset the fans.
He was there at day one and will be there till the very end, I'm sure. And I have no doubt he will pop up and play a song here and there while on tour.

Jukka did beat it harder! Kai and Jukka were/are close friends. Jukka still works for Nightwish behind the scenes. He was a founding g member. Hope your wife likes. Nightwish has a large catalog of songs.. Floor can growl, do full opera ! Probably the best in my opinion!
I should have weened my wife in to it as well. Shortly after we got married I took her to her very first metal concert, Sabaton and Nightwish. I thought her head was going to explode the whole show. Not in a bad way, but she went in to it with every cliche preconceived notion that typically applies to metal music. On a good note, she loved it, and we have been doing regular metal concerts ever since... but man was she a fish out of water at that first show.

Very cool seeing the both of you do a reaction together! You really need to do "Yours is an Empty Hope" (specifically ruclips.net/video/XtXqUNB8zrU/видео.html). That one you might want to do by yourself. Either way, you're probably already heard it. It was recorded on a cruise ship I believe but it shares same caliber of recording and mixing as the ones you've been doing.
I did the one at the beginning of this concert but idk if it was the spirit vehicle, I will check and if it wasn't I will get right to it 💪!

Apart from the chorus I really like this version, too bad for some reason Floor seems to run out of power during chorus of this song compared to Tarja. The other parts, especially the beginning are amazing

While Floor and Annette are great singers, Nightwish will always be with Tarja, as it's just not the same anymore without Tarja

About Annette:
she very good singer, but her singing doesn't match up well with nightwish's music, as she's more a pop singer, which doesn't go with nightwish at all, her singing with nightwish makes it sound like an 80s band and music and song...

Nightwish (it's music) was created for working with Tarja's singing, so while Floor is almost a replacement for Tarja, she's still a bit different, and so her singing doesn't quite match up with nightwish's music (very close though, she's almost a replacement for Tarja, definitely the best we could ever hope for, as no one can replace Tarja truly)
so, for any who don't know, Nightwish's order of singers:
1. Tarja (the original and whom Nightwish and its music was created for her singing)
2. Annette (just didn't match up with nightwish's music, and so, this was a pretty bleak time for nightwish, especially with how perfect Tarja was)
3. Floor (the current singer for nightwish: finally, nightwish got the best replacement that was possible for Tarja, redeeming itself in the world, but as good as Floor is, she's not Tarja, and while her singing goes really close to well with nightwish, it's still slightly off, where's tarja's singing went perfectly with nightwish, as it was created to go with Tarja's singing)
Only if you heard Tarja first. Everyone's taste gets coloured by who they heard first. For me Floor sounds better but I heard the Wacken concert before I went back to the catalog as a friend kept insisting me to listen to NIghtwish at wacken 2013. I fully understand your opinion though. Can't wait for the new album as everyone in the band is now permanent so hopefully it will be amazing! No pressure...and the mixing needs to be better than Greatest Show on Earth album.

You know... Tarja has had a career passed NW. I'm willing to bet she'd be upset to know her kiss ass cronies still pine for her NW days instead of supporting her now.
15 years later and Tarjalcoholics cant get over it. I guess she qas wrong after all when chasing a solo career. I tried to listen to some of her songs , the vocals were ok but the lyrics and music is just meh, kinda understand now why you people are still crying.
Floor is a more versatile singer than Tarja will ever be... While Tarja only have the operatic voice, Floor can sing high, low and even growl... The band has a lot more possibilities now, music writing-wise...
