Here in New Zealand, with Chinese territorial claims in the South China Sea threatening our Southeast Asian allies, our growing involvement in US-led operations in the Middle East and security needs in the South Pacific region, we need to consider rebuilding the RNZAF combat aircraft fleet.
The F-35 is good but it may be too expensive. Maybe the KF-X could be a cheaper option.
