- It's big. It's beautiful. It's got a scary side to it. It calls to a certain cut of folks who accept it for what it is and aren't afraid of it. It's occupied by alligators, moccasins, mosquitoes, wild pigs, and a whole lot of other critters. Let's go on a jon-boat adventure in the big swamp next door.
The Mobile-Tensaw River Delta is the largest river delta and wetland in Alabama. It encompasses approximately 260,000 acres in a 40-by-10-mile area and is the second largest delta in the contiguous United States.
Outdoor adventure in the Lower Alabama woods and waters.

YES sir I had a great time tagging along 👍🎃🍁
Thanks for coming along with us, Joy.
Great adventure David. Always love the quieter waters of creeks and rivers, and those houseboats! i'd be quite content living on one of those. Just catching up after having some time offline. I hope all is well.
Hey Andy. I was thinking a few days ago that it's been a while since we last bumped shoulders. It's great out there. All those places, even the elevated houses, are totally off-grid. The delta is quite the place. All is well on our side of the big pond. All the best my friend.
Thanks for taking us along. did not look like to many bugs flying around. See you on the next one.
Hey Toney. I was surprised at that and had only one mosquito buzz my ear. Didn't even put on bug dope. Thanks for coming with us. Y'all have fun on Dugger Mountain.
I was about to ask if you have gators in that river and you then answered my question David. No fun if you go overboard I expect. Great little trip out. The little boy with the machete scared me! Blade facing up! Thanks for taking me along it was a good day out. Lee
Hey Lee. There's no shortage of gators in the delta. Some of them over 13 feet long. A certain number of permits are issued every year to people that want to catch them. That old blade is duller than a butter knife. It was a great day. Thanks for coming with us.
Looks like a great adventure 👍👍.
Hey Shane. It was a great time. Thanks for watching.
Awesome footage. Those were some beautiful places.
Thank you. This little bit doesn't begin to touch the 400 square miles of it.
Now that looked like a lot of fun. JB.
Hey JB. It was a lot of fun. Hope to head back and do some of that water with my canoe in a few days. ATB my friend.
