*For clarification, the intro was built when I was under the impression that everything was working as intended, however during post, the original footage had no game audio, an error of my recording software. However, I figured I'd keep the intro because it looks and sounds great! Though, no nuke this time around.

Ngl, I really like the M60s. They just embody "Mid-Cold War American armored doctrine" for me.
Makes sense cause it is a mid Cold-War American armored vehicle lol
Sometimes it feels like the American Cold War doctrine was “make it heavy slow like a tank, without any armor like a car” jk with me it’s just a skill issue
Personally, I love the M60’s. I swear by them, especially the American M60A1 AOS at 8.0 because that one fucks at its tier
M60A1 is super good at its tier with a stabilizer and decent mobility

@@gabrielnascimento1021 No, it lost flat pen but gained a lot of angled pen. It will lolpen pretty much any soviet tank you will face.

I didn't care for this one much when I first got it. Even after I got the dart it was kinda meh for me. Absolutely love it it now though. Don't know what changed other than getting used to the play style in the higher tiers, but this can be a really fun vehicle.
Terrible mobility is the problem
same thing with m60(aos) i love it it's lack of speed and mobility never get's you in sticky situations
My dad drove an ultimately commanded the m60a1 in the 2nd armored division in Germany in the late 70s early 80s.

Why is that whenever the Gunner gets severely injured the turret traverse speed and gun elevation speed is heavily decreased. You can look at it from the perspective of there's an electric current drive so it's independent of crew skill or injury therefore it should remain constant.
Unless Gaijin factors in power traverse with additional help from manual traverse which makes no sense.
I guess that's because the crew skills are remnants of the days where we only had WWII tanks. They could update it ofc so that anything that isn't related to the crew's health, isn't affected by it. But I guess that's a bit too much to ask. Reducing overall rp gains and make the grind longer is more important.
If your gunner has pieces of steel in his cheat, your gunner is no more.
@@CetoFreakingKaiba yeah , the grind was waaay to short, I was able to grind whole tech tree in under 5 years! finally they fixed it
@@austriankangaroo see they knew this was an issue and they fixed it! Now it will take 5 years to grind a minor tree. If you want one of the major ones, you will have to purchase their 10 year plan with retirement benefits
@@CetoFreakingKaiba I mean, they might update it if it becomes a large enough issue. Pretty sure they used to have aircraft manuverability be based off of the health of the pilot but changed it so red pilot didn't mean that you became a brick
I researched the RISE but never purchased it. The M60s were such a struggle that I lost interest in the tree by the time I got it. It sucks because I grew up loving the M60 (Yes, I am old). They just don't suit my playstyle. I may have to get it during the next sale and try it out. Need to be a little more patient, I suspect.
I have a love/hate relationship with the M60 (excluding the non-stabilized one, I just hate it). On the one hand I find it fun to use and also really like the look of it. On the other hand, at just 0.3BR higher the Russians get the T55AM1 with a dart, atgm, and laser rangefinder, and I end up playing it more than the M60. Add on the fact that on average in a good match I make 8k SL with it, it’s definitely not a first choice
@@Skip.8221 So true. Add to that, I seem to get uptiered every time I play it so I am always playing against tanks with all the advantages you just mentioned. If I get killed, I feel like I lose SL.

As much as I like the BR range, around 7.3+ uptiers become insufferable just because things start to get thermals, laser rangefinders, composite armor, era, etc. At lower BRs they’re manageable because generally you’re just outgunned and outarmored, but now on top of that your enemies can see you, lase you, and be ready to fire without you even knowing they’re there

The m60 was a backing for the fly to rise from the right then they used a dan looalike at the bus stop on a45 looking down with a square cotton bag
Then yesyerday it was used as a front (motorway closed for 3 hours) so then they used the same m60 as a front with the 3 split bus so they could go “undercover” do deliver the final blow

As a new player I can say that bringing less ammo for battle is the most important tip I ever got.
the nuke intro fits pretty well tho... even tho there was no nuke it defo fits as your channel/vid- intro
I remember thinking this thing came a patch too late which is the patch after ATGMs were first added and heatfs was the top pick shell.
Speaking of under appreciated vehicles: you should definitely give the Charioteer a second look, everyone sleeps on it but it’s so good at 6.3

A tip for vertical targeting speed on stabilized tanks: if you keep the small circle or the crosshair (in scope) inside the larger mouse circle, and slowly move your mouse up or down, it will go faster than usual because it is trying to keep stabilized. Takes a bit of practice
Played the 7.7 M60 and thought it was adequate, but nothing more than that. With the line ending without connecting to the abrams I just didn’t see the point of spending the time on it
m60 dosent do well on the other hand m60a1 is a gem

7.7 m60 is shit at it's br. And somehow Leo is 7.3

Speed is definitely a bit of an issue but it has amazing firepower and its armor is extremely troll-ish at times + era actually works fine too!
I have such a hard time with this tank. I think it's the crummy rangefinder. I tend to do fine with other slow and steady MBTs like the Chieftain, Cents, etc but the Rise is a special kind of hell for me. Good looking tank though, fun to rock in CBs
this was the tank in my old Tank BN in the Marines. 2nd Tank Bn i was in TOW co back then 91-82
Still love this tank, play it a lot. Once you get used to it you can have some pretty decent games with it.
Yeah I really love the m60's. That era on the rise p has saved me quite a bit too.
hey justin, i played with you on that factory map... i am impressed how you managed to use the M60 effectively... me on the other hand, i kept dying on my stock M60

Justin, don't know how are why but when ibwatch your videos I can pin point the enemy tanks like you do. But when I play I can't hear a enemy that's few meters next to me. Do you think you could do a video af a good sound setting?

I've been playing the m48 a2 g and it's not half bad, and I'm 20k rp from the super which I want because it reminds me of the magach series
both of those m48s are some of my favourite wt tanks
i hate that they nerfed the m735 making this and the xm-1 have to really ythink when aiming at the t 55s

When I hear you say without back ups it would take ages to make the videos it made me wonder if you had considered doing videos about lineups instead of just a single vehicle? For example USA 8.7 in this case where you cover several vehicles at that BR
that you’ve already covered in individual videos and rate the lineup as a whole. As you’ve already done individual videos you could just do a brief overview of each one or something like that

I love this tank but just wish USA had a better choice of other 8.7br vehicles to run as a lineup. The M247 is amazing, but that's it for ground 8.7 unless you have the very rare Merkava Mk 1.

I main USA and so far, I've gotten to the M60A1 (AOS). I love and hate the M60's; they can do many things and at the same time, having difficulties preforming at their BR. So, for my conclusion, I favor the M60 MBT's.
Am I the only one who hates most tanks that are covered in ERA? Not the nice, neat layers and lines on tanks like the Soviet T series, I mean ones like this where it looks like some tank designer's kid slapped some flat Legos all over a model of a Patton and he yelled, "Genius! Why didn't I think of it before?!"
I like the intro style and i think i will grind it, since the new br change is gonna to "track" (guess the word) my plan for US tanks so...
Time for a little bite of Cold War stuff, i was already spading the AOS but other grind take me away from it.
I've played this thing a bit, and while it is usable, I really don't think its BR is justified. Pretty much every single other 8.7 tank has either a better APFSDS round or is faster, often both.
Its a tank that really gets punished in an uglier because of its weak armor and lack of speed

Dude...I don't think I've EVER had ERA work on that or any other US tank...yet...I guess. The ERA on TURMS will work against most things and then the next match it'll totally wiff for me.
Justin can you play the Object 906 next, or the Object 120 with HE, or mayyybe a T-62 revisit

12:27 I had a similar shot in the xm1, shot the rear right corner of the hull and it shouldve been a one shot but instead I got non pen and died
M60A2 has a faster gun elevation speed than the Abrams
This isn’t a bad tank by any means but 8.7 is generally a struggle bus. Nothing has any armor at 8.7 but this is bottom tier speed, only faster than like a chieftain and Centurion. Good luck at 9.7 with most 8.7s lol
You can take like 31 or 34 (don't remember) ammo in M60s. Can't get rid of 7 or 11 rounds at turret ring so don't bother, rest at rear of your turret. And I like both AOS and RISE. Slow but kind solid bois

I realise the Russians are dominating at top tier but it seems to revolve between the big 3 nations over time.
And if you step down a BR or so it seems to be the Russians getting a kicking.
I’m currently at 9.7 Russia getting 10.3+ games pretty consistently and have 38% w/r. Swings and roundabouts.

what you expect them are German pay to play players and have no clue. They buy a top tier tank and try to figure the game out from there an having no clue that a full rack= bad out comes when shot by the enemy. Leopard A1A1 L/44 = EZ kills 90% of the time 😁 That and Turms but atleast the Turms has some kind of protection..... really people should learn the game and put some time in to figure out the mechanics and ability of vehicles and what there roles are.
