I'm from Mexico, I've travelled quite a lot and seen the different versions of what other countries make for 'tacos'. Obviously, I still prefer the classic Mexican one. 'Taco Friday' must be quite a recent trend in Norway thou; when I was there, nobody told me about it. Anyway, you should try the 'Mexican bacalao', it's a tradition to have it for dinner(plus other dishes) on New years' Eve . Let us know your opinion about it ;-)
Mmmmmm! I made tacos the other day. beef/steak or al pastor is what I always use for meat. Al pastor being my favorite. Dice up some onion, cilantro and jalapeños mix it together with some lime juice and top it with some Mexican creama and avacado. 😋
As a mexican watching this, this is definitely not what I imagine when my family says we’ re getting tacos for dinner 😂 So interesting how different food can be, tho!
That's cuz you're not schooled in makin good tacos. Your people might have drawn a circle at some point. My people cut steel out of a mountain side and turned that circle in the sand into a gear that turns the world. Same with tacos. i have to explain this to my buddy, Jose Rodriguez, all the time.
Dear bowl of turds, i dont claim to be from Norway. i came outta my fathers loins and into mother Tejas. You might not know skat from peanut butter if there were a taste test. Hush and let the folks with actual western wisdom hash out the mex cuisine and you handle pushin fish from a toothpaste packet onto stale bread.
Smiles to Zara. Some of my fondest memories of the time i've spent with one of my favorite buddies is in where he and i were arguing who made the better tacos : america or mexico. i meant no real offense. i was just recreating that arguement here. i dont know what's got this Norweejanz panties all in a bundle.
We have Taco Tuesday in the USA. We live in Tucson, Arizona, USA, where half or more of the population is Mexican ancestry, so we have Taco stands everywhere, available all the time. Once 20 years ago my wife and I were visiting Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany, and noticed a Mexican Food restaurant. We went in for a great meal: tacos, margaritas, refried beans, etc. The owner came over to talk with us. Turns out that he was a Cuban American from Miami, Florida, where we lived at the time. We even knew some of the folks that he knew in Miami. On a whim, he moved to Germany to start a Mexican restaurant. LOL.
Okay, Norwegians seem like my kind of people honestly XD I think it's because I love the idea of free healthcare and college (Something they don't have here in America), but also I think it's because everyone really likes good food :P

As a Mexican and obviously taco eater from the cradle. I gone give you a 👍🏻 for the effort to make a taco 🌮🤤 and for the correct way to say tortilla and no “tortila”like the Americans
Sunny We call it a Taco when is a Corn Tortilla ! and wheat flour tortillas are more for burritos, and those hard shells don't even exist in Mexico lol That's from America, But like i said , It wasn't bad! I'll eat some Norwegian tacos for sure! 👌🏽🌯 or burritos
Mexican style, usually only use soft warmed corn tortillas folded & use the larger wheat flour rolled up for burritos. American style uses the crispy molded corn shells, and sometimes they use lightly fried small wheat flour tortillas folded in half for tacos that is more Tex-Mex. Tex-Mex also uses the fried flour ones to make quesadillas with 2 flat pieces with cheese in between fried till crispy & cheese melted. Can put chopped jalepenos inside for spice & slice in triangles & top with sour cream, pico de gallo, avacado etc. American is also to take those big ones you use and deep fry into a bowl shape & use all your ingredients to make a "taco salad". You can also cut into pieces & deep fry both the corn & flour to make your own tortilla chips. Mexican tacos use different spices & usually have chopped cilantro & a lime wedge. Variations like fish tacos with shredded cabbage also exist. They also make some nice ceviches with seafood in Mexico, similar to shrimp cocktails but spicier. The ground beef seasoning is loosely based on carne picadillo, which is Mexican.

It's a recipe because you showed all your methods whether mixing pre made or whole spices it doesn't matter... I've done these and they are the real deal delicious 😋 10/10
You got cool videos. I watched every one of them!!
Oh my gosh you make the best TAAAACCOOOOOZZZ 😍
I'm from Mexico, I've travelled quite a lot and seen the different versions of what other countries make for 'tacos'. Obviously, I still prefer the classic Mexican one. 'Taco Friday' must be quite a recent trend in Norway thou; when I was there, nobody told me about it. Anyway, you should try the 'Mexican bacalao', it's a tradition to have it for dinner(plus other dishes) on New years' Eve . Let us know your opinion about it ;-)
Paprika is bell pepper:)
Hey Sunny! It looked really delicious 😋. Next time you can make pizza ok 😉. I wish you a nice Weekend dear Sunny 😘🥰.
Are you really Thor, the son of Odin? Cool.
@@DHMenke Yes I am 😂😂😂.
Mmmmmm! I made tacos the other day. beef/steak or al pastor is what I always use for meat. Al pastor being my favorite. Dice up some onion, cilantro and jalapeños mix it together with some lime juice and top it with some Mexican creama and avacado. 😋
Mmmm, Mexian creama and avocado.
I want a Norwegian taco!
Taco Sunny😼
Hello Norwegians !! Love from India!❤❤❤
Whatttt?? It’s Taco Tuesday!!!!!
As a mexican watching this, this is definitely not what I imagine when my family says we’ re getting tacos for dinner 😂
So interesting how different food can be, tho!
Dear bowl of turds,
i dont claim to be from Norway. i came outta my fathers loins and into mother Tejas. You might not know skat from peanut butter if there were a taste test.
Hush and let the folks with actual western wisdom hash out the mex cuisine and you handle pushin fish from a toothpaste packet onto stale bread.
@@countdublevay7327 I was just appreciating food diversity over the world and now somehow “ it’s cuz I’m not schooled in making good tacos”? 😂
I did not know other countries adopt Mexican recipies. They don´t seem like real ones but your recipe looks delicious.
Your accent is really amazing. One main reason I watch your videos over and over again is that I like the way you talk. It's just so amazing! Would love to see you speak some Hindi words! I've some suggestions for ya!
Dude, if anything you are obsessed 😂
1:22 you gotta do something in lockdown.
Why do y'all do it on Friday & not Taco Tuesday?
Do you get all the El Paso ingredients in a store in Norway? Or do you have to order them?
Maybe bc Friday is the end of the week and work, school and stuff is over, ik it's lockdown but still, they can't stop such an amazing tradition ^_^
Happy Norway's national day! 🇳🇴🇳🇴
Hey the Norwegian taco is very interesting :D and it looks great
It looks tasty!
As a Mexican and obviously taco eater from the cradle. I gone give you a 👍🏻 for the effort to make a taco 🌮🤤 and for the correct way to say tortilla and no “tortila”like the Americans
Yesssssss I like tacos uwu
Also please show us how to make more food from norway too if you can uwu
Have you ever had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?
Beautiful culture ❤
in Mexico we called that a burrito , but for a Norwegian version it's actually not bad 👌🏽♥️
So you only call it a taco if you use the hard shells? Or how do you define a proper Mexican taco? 😄😄 I’m curious to know 🌮
Sunny We call it a Taco when is a Corn Tortilla ! and wheat flour tortillas are more for burritos, and those hard shells don't even exist in Mexico lol That's from America, But like i said , It wasn't bad!
5 pm here in germany. We often eat fish on friday
My German American Catholic Grandmother made Fish each Friday. We have Taco Tuesday in the USA. We live in Tucson, Arizona, USA, where half or more of the population is Mexican ancestry, so we have Taco stands everywhere, available all the time.

Northern mexican here. If you wanna cook tacos, flour tortillas is completely OK and it's a mexican thing. It's a tradition in northern Mexico to eat flour homemade tortillas.
That is the same as what we use for Australian Tacos haha
