The Fruit drug dealer Turles is literally the first Black Goku and he is still amazing in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 to the point I had to go easy after the first match because the strength of this character keeps surprising me!

It's more clear with a different interpretation of his name being "Tulles" or "Tullece" which is literally lettuce with the t and l's swapped

Yo Steed! Super souls that buff moves when used have to hit the enemy before their buffs start applying. This goes for the Kamehameha ss, the Galick Gun ss, the Double Sunday ss- it wasn't the case for the Pathetic ss, but then that got nerfed and Blazing Attack also needs to hit now.
Yo warmwater! You're wrong about the Galick and Kamehameha SS's. Double Sunday and Blazing Attack SS's do only buff when you hit with the move, but the Galick Gun and Kamehameha SS provide the buff when you activate the super, no hitting the opponent required.
If you actually read the description of the super souls, they even say they have different activation conditions for the buff part in-game. The beam souls read "When using Galick Gun or Earth Splitting Galick Gun" and "When using Kamehameha", in comparison to the single hit attacks "When Double Sunday hits or is blocked" and "When Blazing Attack hits or is blocked"
If the Galick Gun and Kamehameha SS needed to hit, then you would instantly reach full buff stacks because each hit of the beam would re-proc the super soul to give another buff stack. Funnily enough, this also means those rare instances where double sunday has hit someone twice would also double-proc the super soul and provide two stacks of the buff, one for each hit.
I confirmed all of this by looking through the actual super soul files, feel free to double check me with training mode.

@@AbstractionDistraction I could've sworn they had to hit to activate, I'll fact check myself soon here. Even in the wording for the super soul I believe it says when hit or blocked. I'd love to be wrong because that would make those super souls less time consuming (not that it would matter since 6 continuously strengthening Galick Guns in a row would probably kill someone- that is if they aren't lagging like crazy or are sleeping while playing the game)
@@sup7751 Since I'm here, another fun fact I just remembered I learned looking into this super soul thing:
Apparently, Blazing Attack is comprised of two 'separate' move IDs, the first of which contains a decimal and that is something I've never seen before in my months of modding the game.
It's because of that the devs can single out the initial punch of Blazing Attack so you don't get a buff again if the blast hits as well.
I assume kamehameha and galick guns aren't built the same way because those supers essentially spawn a multi-hit projectile, instead of having hitboxes directly tied to parts of the skill.
Hey Steed, have you tried custom mentor Turles in XV2 Revamp? He can go SSJ3 which makes him a bit of a mutant with the Fruit.
Turles has too much style to even need ssj..
Turles should be given the super saiyan transformation for Partner Customization imo. It would certainly fit with Xenovers's big "What if" scenario kind of story that it has going for it. If they want to they could even add it in as some extra story/pq content.
That Meteor Burst at the start was so unnecessary. I love it.

Hey Steed you should try the ranger 18 soul, I thinks it’s “time to get serious…I guess” it’s an XXL boost to everything and an XL speed boost. I use it on my namekian cause they’re slow and mine has most points in HP stamina and basic attack

I just realized something, why doesnt turles have a special outfit that gives him his cape?
Ikr, or like a cac outfit with the cape. We need more capes!
Or maybe just let us just color any outfit we want by ether letting us color the outfits of the mentors but for ourselves or have a npc the let's you dye any outfit for medals like the barber does.

For all these years he’s been on his own in the universe a fate even worse than Broly. I mean at least Broly had his father growing up whereas Tarble would have to teach himself how to survive in a universe where people take advantage of his kindness.

Do a Saitama-based one shot build- only use melee supers, meditation, power rush, Darkness Rush, super armor buff, and an ATK up super soul so that it can one shot!
Steedoj the super soul doesn’t stack if you miss it only stacks if it hits or is blocked
