The scene where Makael was killed a 2nd time had bad written dialogue, when he was asked, why he hated Niklaus. The response was he just did. That was pretty dumb. It would have made sense if Mikael stated, out of all the children, he saw himself most in Niklaus. Meaning Mikael actually hated himself, and he saw Klaus as a reflection.

I know the vampires are the protagonists in these shows but make no mistake they aren't the good guys, they are monsters not much better than any of the other supernatural villains they fight against, sometimes worse. Don't mistake me if I had the choice to be a vampire of the type they are I would choose to turn without hesitation but that doesn't mean it's right.

Actually he had already stabbed him by then. What set him off was when he said "I'm sorry" to her because Klaus was basically asking for an apology for his horrible behavior towards him when he was a kid and instead Mikael used his last words to apologize to Freya.

Ended up being weak and afraid, not knowing his own mother made him so with the amulet she gave Niklaus. Als Niklaus got Henry killed, killed his own mother and blamed it on Mikael, last but not least, turned all his siblings against Mikael. When Mikael was turned all his emotions were heightened and so he began focusing all his hate on Niklaus.
