Klaus and Elijah are the best duo in the TVD/TO world. While many fans hate that they both died together, I think it would have been wrong if they hadn't. Those two have such a strong connection that it is impossible to believe they'd part by choice.

It's a good tragedy to me. Elijah gave it all for family but at the end of the day there was nothing left of him in the world. His entire life spent barely living for himself. Unable to choose himself, lost his love, lost himself, full of guilt, gave up. His entire life purpose, his greatest reason for living, his life's work being the redemption of his brother. Just when he's succeeded, it ends. His greatest mission is over and he dies with him. Klaus after the suffering he went through with his brother, doing horrible things to survive, to conquer, for his family and because of it. After disappointing his brother for centuries, he finally, finally became the man Elijah always believed he could be.. when he finally found purpose, it's just over.

Hayley dying, hope needing a guardian none of it could break him, but when Klaus was about to die he knew he couldn't let him die alone

They had the best brotherhood ever and I agree with you that if one died the other had to die with him because they couldn’t live separately. Actually the ending scene was the sweetest thing ever and did justice to the whole relationship they had. But the way they killed Haley and they forced the death of Elijah and hers, I mean it was I would say the worst. The series weren’t about their romance ofc but they were the best couple, when all the others got a happy ending. My problem was the way they ended the relationship between them and they didn’t even give us the afterlife. Elijah I think was my fav due to his consisted attitude throughout the series. He stayed the most true to himself and a noble king really...and that was hard. He made an oath to protect his family always and forever, especially Klaus who sometimes betrayed him, and that’s what he did. And then very very close comes Klaus that matured so much, something I believed since season 1 and Hayley, a Queen really and such a pure soul That’s why I believe she was perfect for Elijah as he was perfect for her as well But my favorite thing in originals by farrr was the relationship between Klaus and Elijah (so well thought out and such good actors)\ the whole meaning of the series was incredible Family always and forever no matter what My second favorite thing was Hayley and Elijah sorry

As much as their end breaks me, it was the best way for them to go out. I mean I'd have preferred them to live but if it had to be death, it's most realistic for them to face it together. They have always been by each other's side, the most out of all their siblings I think and one can't really be without the other so to have them go together, looking at each other as they do, it's kind of tragically beautiful

They had the best brotherhood ever and I agree with you that if one died the other had to die with him because they couldn’t live separately. Actually the ending scene was the sweetest thing ever and did justice to the whole relationship they had. But the way they killed Haley and they forced the death of Elijah and hers, I mean it was I would say the worst. The series weren’t about their romance ofc but they were the best couple, when all the others got a happy ending. My problem was the way they ended the relationship between them and they didn’t even give us the afterlife. Elijah I think was my fav due to his consisted attitude throughout the series. He stayed the most true to himself and a noble king really...and that was hard. He made an oath to protect his family always and forever, especially Klaus who sometimes betrayed him, and that’s what he did. And then very very close comes Klaus that matured so much, something I believed since season 1 and Hayley, a Queen really and such a pure soul
That’s why I believe she was perfect for Elijah as he was perfect for her as well
But my favorite thing in originals by farrr was the relationship between Klaus and Elijah (so well thought out and such good actors)\ the whole meaning of the series was incredible

This hurt me so much even when i head it wasnt a season 6 and they wouldnt be in legacies, i wish i had a bond with family like this. I will never agree with the ending, as they died however as the died together, it was beautiful and showed their strong bond and how they couldn't live without each other but also that their lives would never be complete without the other
I remembered hating Klaus so much that I wanted to fit thru the TV screen, but the way he suffered by the hands of someone he just wanted to love (Michael) made me understand and grow to love the Mickaelson siblings.... They all went thru so much... A glorious ride it was indeed

As much as their end breaks me, it was the best way for them to go out. I mean I'd have preferred them to live but if it had to be death, it's most realistic for them to face it together. They have always been by each other's side, the most out of all their siblings I think and one can't really be without the other so to have them go together, looking at each other as they do, it's kind of tragically beautiful
