In this video, I review and test the Midea 12,000 BTU U-Shaped Smart Inverter Air Conditioner under extreme heat conditions. This unit cools up to 550 sq. ft., operates ultra quietly, and allows for open window flexibility. It’s compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, and offers 35% energy savings with remote control.

Enjoy while it works. My two 12000-BTU Worked for two years only. Since midea customer service didn't want to hear about my problem and I was not able to find a technician that works on windows units I had no choice but throw both in the garbage.

That’s really frustrating to hear. It’s tough when customer service isn’t helpful. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Brother , I had to laugh when you said the outside temp was was 85 only because I'd consider that quite comfortable! ...yes thats a nice temp drop in 1 hour for sure but living where we are, its 100-108 degrees and we regularly achieve about the same temp drop from 81 degrees before turing it on, to 72 or better after an hr but differences are smaller room and we have the 8,000 unit.and of course, the Outside temps are blistering by comparison...it will actually hit 67 if left on high for longer than an hr and 65 after the sun is down...these are pretty incredible units

I get it 85°F is nothing compared to 100+°F. Glad to hear your setup is working well for you. These units can really make a difference!
