I think mankind's conquering of the skies is one of the greatest feats in history. It has enabled man to reach all corners of the world, and to even reach other planets, walk on them, and to return. One of the best things I did with my life was to serve in the USAF. You are an excellent pilot.
Subscriber and Ford fanatic. Not a pilot but I've got 20 years in aviation (military and now delivery prep for a major manufacturer). This adds another dimension to your content offerings.
Bro that is so awesome, found your channel around a month ago, really enjoying the content. I’m from down under where the CHI Heads are made and currently retro modding a 75 Aussie Ford, 351 Cleveland, waiting for the CHI’s to arrive. Anyway thanks for the awesome content 👌👍🏻
In my country when you are training for the PPA, we are taught to try doing the pattern, very close to the runway, it's a common practice in the middle of the pattern the instructor, idle the engine, if you are in the correct position you should reach the runway without engine... very easy to do with a piper super cub haha not with a 150 or 172 but it is possible haha... It's great that you continue with your training, you will get your license soon!! regards
This brings back good memories, I loved practicing crosswind landings, but 36knots!? What was the total crosswind component? I thought they were only rated for about 20 knots. I remember the nose gear shimmy was standard on every small Cessna !

Clearly a man of many talents. There’s no experience quite like flying in a single engine aircraft. The view was spectacular !

It was 36 knots at pattern altitude. Calm on the ground. 😁
