Budgies enjoy their funny tricks. I know it so well from my budgie girl Daisy. She was sitting close to my cockatiel Carlo, then pushed him. While he was slowly starting to fall, she grabbed his tail, so he was hanging upside down for some seconds, before she finally let him fall down. This was the end of a friendship, Carlo was not amused.
These tiny birds can be quite strong. I had a canary who broke it's leg. They put a soft splint on him that weighed like twice as him. He could still fly with it if scared. That's like carrying 300 pounds abd flying for a human. Imagine just walking with that.
I love how cockatiels think squealing really loud will save them from everything. Mine do it at the vet; should've heard my one tiel when he was getting his leg band removed lol.
