I expect we’re going corner, but I wouldn’t be mad if we went Will Campbell (move to center) and Tyler Booker (right guard) in the first two rounds. O-line would be BUILT and there’s some DB depth in this class and better available free agents
I know it’s a hot take but honestly drafting T Mac would make this offense so scary. Trev has a problem throwing high and that dude would mitigate that a lot, him, btj, literally either TE is a red zone nightmare, and it would keep btj from getting double teams a lot, and probably more nickel formations for tank to run downhill on
Watching Mac Jones throw a pick to end like 3 of his games. Really just solidifies that Trevor is just leagues above him. I just hope that hit doesn't Antonio Brown my sweet Prince.
My intuition says no. Look at what some of these other terrible teams have on their schedules vs us. And we have coaches trying to keep their jobs STILL HERE instead of fired. That awful titans win is gonna haunt us.
Jags have way more talent then the teams they have to play, how they play is another story. Id shoot for Mason Graham or Travis Hunter, but if not trading back a few picks would be ideal, value in picks become greater than the difference in player value.
Let's be honest, one high draft pick doesn't matter at all. I was always annoyed about the Hutch/Walker discussion because neither can make the jags defense a stud defense suddenly. We suddenly have to add great players in free agency. Jaguars had the chance of picking up players like Danielle Hunter, Calais Campbell, Clowney etc. and they didn't. Backfield looks bad and one high drafted CB won't make the team a top defense. Unless the jags are able to hit on free agency and the draft we will be at a point like this season where every one is hyped and think we have a good team and after week 1 we see the complete difference. Jags had so many veteran safety on the roaster in the preseason and released every one, and the safety position was looking terrible the entire season. They add 1 center on the o-line and assume that the line will suddenly become elite.
Brock Bowers is a TE. The Jags can’t cover TE’s. EVER. So…maybe that’ll be enough. The Jags getting beat by one guy isn’t ridiculous, it’s happened before.
Gotta get the #1 pick so some desperate team will want to trade for Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward, and Baalke can have multiple high draft picks to work his magic and find hidden gems.
@@mattjones1378 heck no! I don’t want Baalke having multiple picks to work his magic lol more like multiple picks to waste them on high upside players. I want a new GM if Baalke is still here I’m revoking my season tickets
@Iilyoung that's what we need to unite on and let it be know I'm not a season ticket holder but I go to literally every home game but if he here I'll watch on TV next year😊
We will never get the number one pick. Raiders have a third string QB and the Jags will easily beat. Raiders and Giants have no incentive to win again if they have a chance to draft a QB.
@@deangeloandrews6204totally agree with Will Johnson, I’d take him if Travis Hunter is gone. We missed out on Quinyon Mitchell and everyone knows we needed a cb1 because as of right now Campbell hasn’t been that to the fullest. I believe Will Johnson will fill that spot and be a top 5 cb in league one day
@GenJag also I hear everybody wants to go offensive it doesn't matter if Trevor Lawrence play good or not if the defense can't be consistent on stops then it dont matter how good the offensive and I kno what the problem is the jags ain't paying everybody top dollar so that why Cisco ain't playing good he basically just got replaced with Darnell Savage so in other words we need will Johnson first round pick then we can go offensive after we draft him and they need to keep Travis Etienne because tank is not a complete running back he is not good at catching the ball
@@deangeloandrews6204 ya it’s like do people not recognize we have one of the worst pass defenses in the league? We gave up over 400 yards to the Vikings and over 600 to the lions like cmon
No game is pointless. The losing culture has infected our fans. We are now at the point where we believe that losing is a good thing for the future. What gives you the faith that we're going to do anything different with this high draft pick that we haven't done with any of the other high draft picks that we've accumulated over this 10-year suck fest. I'm sorry but I'm tired of wasting my Sundays watching this team lose. I want to see them win and I don't care if it's at the end of a wasted season or not. I get the logic. We're not going to the playoffs. Don't care. I want to win and we should always want to win regardless of the situation. You play the games to win Why would you want to be the first team in NFL history to have the number one draft pick three out of the last 5 years?
I get that the picks for the number one draft pick would be substantial but we're not getting the number one draft pick so I'd rather watch us win a few games than have to wait till next September
@@GenJag Change for the sake of change doesn't thrill me. If it's not Ben Johnson, Mike Vrable or Joe Brady I'm not interested. Obviously, Ben Johnson has accumulated a lot of interest over the last few years but he is still a first-time head coach and I don't think Jacksonville is his first choice. I like Vrable because he brings the type of mentality I think our team needs and he could actually fix the defense. But considering the way Josh Allen is playing. I got to say I'm impressed with what Joe Brady has been able to do. If he could do that for Trevor Lawrence then I would consider him as well. I still think Doug Pederson is a good coach. The team is still playing hard for him. He has won a Super Bowl and this is his first losing season in Jacksonville. I know everybody wants to lump in last year's finish with this year. But last year we were eight and three before Trevor Lawrence got hurt. We lead the league in one score losses. There has to be some player accountability as well. The one thing that he must own is that he has not been able to put together a competent defense in his tenure. I don't see any way that Ryan Neilson can continue as D coordinator. Whoever's, the coach. I hope that they hire an experienced defensive coordinator and not another first-timer. But I wouldn't be against giving Doug another shot with some coordinator changes. Not a popular opinion but he's better than most of the other candidates I've heard mentioned.

I love adding the beef up front!
Yes address the line I would go oline dt and online in first 3 rounds
@ heck nah,
A win for the Raiders would be devastating for them. They'd go from 1st to around 7th

Travis coming to DUVALL bring that man home !!

Travis Hunter is out of the equation,
Give me TMac or Abdul Carter.
Will Johnson if all 3 are off the board.
Will Johnson should be the first pick for them

Tyson Campbell loves will johnson. in a Instagram post he said him Johnson and jones would be fun .and i would have to say i don't disagree
Where did you see that. I would love will Johnson so much on this team

So, we need to lose to the raiders. Titans beating them (they always split), and colts are playing way better. Raiders are horrible though.
