Why can't I get them straight 😭😭

At what point does it start to go wrong for you?

@@ShoeDIY I can't get them to be all straight and lined up, they twist and look messy (also the laces my vans came with are strangely thinner and not as thick as yours)

@@Abyssriku To get them straight and flat, you have to go slow. Catch the laces in your finger before you pull it all the way through the eyelet and untwist as you work your way along the tutorial. Good luck 🙏

have the same shoe but from the teenage section and the „tongue“ of the shoe is so thick is that normal, like the thing so so filled?

You could try this: at the end of the lacing style, when you get to the top hole, instead of pushing the ends of the laces in an outward direction (and having the 2 loops), don't do that but instead continue with the lacing pattern, pushing the lace ends inwards. The ends of the laces will now be inside your shoe. To stop the laces from coming loose when you wear the shoes, tie a knot in both laces just behind each top hole. Hope that helps! 🙏

Hi, I always start lacing each shoe using the lace on the outside - and yeah, that'll make them mirror each other. I just think they look better that way ☺️

Perhaps tighten up the laces or maybe wear some thicker socks to take up the extra room in your shoe

i only have 5 holes

Pull the extra laces in from the top holes so only a bit hangs out then put the last two loops behind the tongue. Make sure they sit flat, between the top of your foot and the tongue. Should work 🙏☺️
