Loved this series, excellent videos, Cirencester Park is just under an hour from us and is probably our favourite. Skip Starbucks and give Jack's in Blackjack Street a go, one thing we try to do is frequent independent cafes rather than the big chains. We've never managed to get pitched up in the row where you did as all pitches are usually taken!
Hi Dan & Family, many thanks for another wonderful vlog. It's nice to actually see sites from a caravanner's view. Looking forward to your next vlog. Neil
Hi Dan, we take delivery of our caravan next week, 22 Aug 17, both Pat and me feel that you sum up at the end of this vlog, what we wish to get out of our new venture, you do not need to go far, just to enjoy what's all around you. We will be putting Cirencester on our list of places to visit. We live in Devon and look forward to day 3 of 2017. Thanks for all your help in our quest to own a caravan, and the advise you have given over the hours of RUclips have put together.Keep up the good work we appreciate what you do for us novices Regards David and Pat
Thank you for your kind words David & Pat, thats very kind of you. Really glad you're enjoying the channel and the content. Look forward to hearing more about your adventures soon. Dan
Great series of vids as always guys and we definitely need a Cadac on our Christmas list, and totally agree about it being just as nice getting away in the van 5 minutes down the road or a lot further from home
just started to follow your channel, although not new to camping, I'll soon be joining the ranks of caravaners, looking for hints and tips I discovered your videos. thanks for making them, it does feel like I'm there sharing the experience! keep up the good work
Another nice series, we must try to get over to Cirencester ourselves one day. I guess the big question left out from the final video, how did Tom get on by himself back home? (or not by himself!). Having two teenagers of similar ages, we are wondering when we will allow them to stay at home because 'the bed is too small'!!
Just watched all 5 back to back, great vids as usual Think you should do more of your cooking ones on the Cadac, I never cook at home (I know I'm bad 😞) but we' re looking to get the same cadac as yours so that I can do breakfasts and dinner like you just have, that section in this vid was great inspiration for me :-) do you just leave the heat on one temp? Stu
Hi Stu, Thanks for your kind comments, Yes there is an appetite for many people to see more of our cooking, so I think this will feature more in the new vlogs. In terms of temp I usually get it nice and hot on the Max setting and leave to warm up for a couple of mins, then add whatever it is I'm cooking, and turn the Cadac down to its lowest setting. This way, I can quaff more drink, be more sociable and also allows the food to cook / steam nicely without burning. I hope that helps Dan
Morning, We do leave Chops in the caravan on some occasions. BUT, we only leave him for a maximum of 3 hours. Also, our dog rarely barks and finally we never leave him on warm or hot days. Our van layout allows us to keep the wash room as Chops bed area. So after 3 years or so, he now knows that when he goes into the wash room he settles down. We often find that when we return, he is still fast asleep. We try our best to include the dog in everything we do, but sometimes thats simply not possible, so having space in the caravan that is dedicated to the dog, and having him well trained to settle down and be calm while we are away is a real help especially if we need to pop out to the shops or visit something that isn't dog friendly. Of course, it costs us a fortune in dog treats for rewards ;-) Hope that helps. Dan

Jolly Good show old chap!
Like the look of the potatoe rosti. Cirencester was one of the first sites we used when we first started caravanning, time for a revisit soon.
Let me know when you re-visit, will pop up and get you both very drunk !!
Hope you are well
Dan
That would be good. Gawd help us, we're soft Southerners.
Deb survived lol, just add more Ginger Ale.. and pretend ;-)

Hi dan what is the mount called you put your phone on to use for filming
Good vid. Just one question- when you walked into Cirencester where was the dog? I understood that it was frowned upon to leave dogs in the caravan.
