Ughh why am i not getting the emails?? Ive tried everything, watched so many videos. I just need the basics to send 3 emails a few days apart after they sign up. But im signing up with my other emails to test it and the emails are not being received ughhh not in spam or junk either!
Sorry to hear mate. This may be frustrating, but have you activated the automation, sequence and published the emails in the sequence? Also, check that your trigger is linked to the correct form you're signing up from.
Hey man, love your video really helpful. I would love to ask you a question based on a project I’m working on currently … really confused So I’m working on this project where we have an email sequence for a whole year They subscribe for it and they keep getting these emails daily The problem is we want the emails to be time based delivery Because each email is named like January 1 and the rest of the month. So if someone subscribe in June, we want them to start receiving June emails instead of starting from scratch Convertkit really hard to set this up. Can you help me with what I’m to do plsssss Any ideas
It's not simple but some ideas in visual automation: Possibly create a sequence for each month, then condition for each sequence You can add a condition, under advanced filters and choose subscription date ("after June 1") then add another filter ("before July 1") and make sure filter matchings "all" of the following. Then if they meet that condition, pop the "june" sequence in under that condition - apply a tag when someone finishes the sequence (maybe call it 'june-finished' or something). Then repeat for july, august, september etc. However! There's a secondary step. after adding the January - december, you may need to repeat january to novemeber for those who join after january to get the full 12 months (make sense?) - the condition then would simply be that they dont have the tag applied from previous months to avoid repeating the sequences. This could work month to month - however, you couldnt apply 'June 1' to the 1st of June this way. If it needs to be the exact date, I would simply set up the broadcasts without the visual automation and schedule the sending to that date. I will say, I don't think it's perfectly ideal for convertkit but I dont know of a better solution necessarily. I hope that helps!
@@WadeMcMaster thanks a lot for this man. But the problem is they want it to be that if someone subscribes on like may 23, we want them to start getting the email “may 24 daily pearl” on may 24 The big problem is that the name of the content of the emails is real time date So it would not make sense for us to send them June email in August I’ve been trying lot of things with visual automation and Zapier but I’m just not sure convertkit can do the work Also, what do you think I can tell the client about this situation
I would simply schedule them as standard broadcasts then - which means each year you'd need to do it again. But you set exact dates and it won't matter when they subscribe. It's possible but it's going to be a tonne of work up front - if you need to you can still tag people who subscribe by a certain form and filter those broadcasts to only send to those people.
@@WadeMcMaster if you don’t mind, can you explain how I’ll go ahead to set it up And we want to wait for a day after they subscribe to send them an email
I have a question, newbie here. So my client has a live zoom session for like 7 30 am at Thursday. We send 3 emails, once subscribed user receives 1st email, then follow up 2nd email on 2nd day, then 3rd in 3rd day. So let's say user subscribe before the day, and I only want that user to receive the 1st email only since live event starts tomorrow. How can I do that?
Oh man, thats a tough one. It may be possible but i dont have the solution off the top of my head. But you woild need tosee if you can have certain triggers or emails going out on certain days witin a certain number of days.
Let's say I have 50 people in this sequence, and then I want to change it. Will those 50 people receive the emails that are in the new edited version, or will only future subscribers benefit from that?
Whatever email your existing people have received, the changes to following emails will be seen. So existing subscribers do experiences email sequences changes as you make them

Great video thank you! If you embed a youtube video into an email can you tag it in the same way as a link to know if they actually clicked to watch?
The only way i could see that working is by linking off to the video, i dont know how to do it with an embed unfortunately
@@WadeMcMaster okay! thank you!
