South Africans living abroad cast their vote

- Over 78, 000 South African citizens living abroad will vote from today and during the rest of this weekend. According to the IEC during the state of readiness update earlier this week, out-of-country voting is scheduled at 111 foreign missions. Voting stations abroad will open at 7AM and close at 7PM. So will some of our SA expats be voting?

They have NO Choice because it is the ANC Government that placed ( Employment or Student ) them in these countries. Therefore they are technically indebted to the ANC. They will fear loosing overseas jobs , scholarships, visa renewals . ONLY Those South Africans that financed themselves to Europe , Australia, America will be able to Vote free choice of their Political Party.

Its good to see SA citizens abroad being legit people who reside in those countries, thus also being protected by the laws of those countries to exercise their rights. It's inspiring and encouraging that it also reflects on how countries will respond to SA because of its citizens. Kudos to these young people for raising the SA flag and remaining patriots on issues that concern the country, even if you reside outside SA. When you are done working, studying, or exploring the world, don't forget to come back home. SA is our home, despite blackouts, unemployment, crime, and many social ills, but we will make it right by not abandoning our country to enjoy the fruits of other countries that their citizens have stood up to build.
