I'm accustomed to making atmospheric instrumentals with unusually slow tempos when working on personal projects, but I wanted to grow past that. To accomplish this, I put a bunch of epic strings and pads together along with the most fast paced drums of this whole project. For once, instead of having something that feels like I'm floating in space, I came up with something that feels like the speed of light.
To be completely honest, I planned for this to be another drumless cut. I was unsure what drums to lay out and was afraid it may not work, but it did. Everything turned out for the better.
