What does it take to win?
Sacrificing relationships.
Sacrificing health.
Sacrificing what you truly love for the sake of progress.
Sacrifices - that’s what it takes to win.
When you want to win big, you MUST make sacrifices.
I’m never one to advocate sacrificing things like health but there’ll be times in your journey where you’ll go as far as putting your goals above your wellbeing.
It absolutely pains me to say something like this but it’s the truth.
To win BIG, (not win small, we’re talking BIG here), you must go to extreme lengths.
It is only by taking these extreme lengths, which will allow you to place yourself in a position of luxury where you can operate however you want.
I speak from personal experience here.
When I was starting out in business, I was obsessed.
I sacrificed so many things, including my health & mental wellbeing at one point.
Fast forward today, I’m in a position where I no longer have to make those extreme sacrifices.
I paid the price early on to be in a position now where I can make significant progress whilst being able to do whatever I please.
Now is it possible to win without taking extreme measures?
Of course it is.
But I must warn you though;
If it is possible to win at something without having to go to extreme lengths, then whatever you are chasing is probably not big enough.
In this video, I share the harsh reality of what it takes to win & why you’ll probably hate what I have to say.
I hope you find it helpful. If you do, consider subscribing :)
Thanks,
Charlie
I like his straight forward approach, When in business STRAIGHT TO THE POINT the better
I got my first client as a 16y/o and Charlie couldn’t be any more correct, your success is measurable to what you sacrifice.
I was an academy boy my entire life, but this past half-year I have been shifting my focus 70/30 to my Agency. Without doing so, their was almost no way to get a client for me. I sacrificed and still am sacrificing lots of my school work cos building Agency is what I really want to do
Hey man, do you have any advice you could give me? Is starting an agency still a viable option? No offense I just don’t understand how someone with no background experience can land clients while there’s huge companies out there who know exactly how to deliver for people. I really want to start a SMMA myself, but I’ve been struggling with this thought for some time now.
@@JJ-xf8xg that is the realisation, and it is that SMMA is no longer a viable option for entry beginners. IM NOT saying you can’t do it, but the bar is extremely high especially since you are competing with 1000s of business owners phone calling the same business who are credible. And also the “old dream” that RUclipsrs sell you such as “charging 2,000 and outsourcing” is no longer the case. What I did, and what you should do is start a SaaS (software-as-a-service) where you sell Whitelabeled products to your customers.
@@oap851 I know you said you wanted really wanted to build an agency, but is that REALLY what you wanted to do? Like I'm in the solar business right now and same thing, no one grows up and says " yeah my life calling is to sell solar or be a sales guy" but business/commission focused occupations seem to be a gateway to escape the 9-5 "matrix" I'd say my biggest distraction is, If you ever wanted to be good at guitar, or start a social experiment RUclips channel, there's living proof of people being rockstars and making millions. Do you deal with this as well? It's hard to justify to sacrifice so much time and energy on a monotonous skill just for money, when there are people who prove that you can do what you truly love, that also helps people in an incredibly positive way, while making thousand/millions.
@@oap851 what do you mean by whitelabeled? You took a huge companies idea and sell it as your own?
Thank you for your work Charlie.
I love the way you explain things keep it up ;)

Great video Charlie! I think I remember Sam Ovens talking about this principle and it is entirely true. I have only started making progress towards my agency now that I am shifting my attention away from school and more towards my business.
I came to conclusion that this is Charlies favourite hoodie! xd

Charlie can you make a Video on your Plan on becoming a Billionaire ?
Essentialism.
Charlie morgan quoting charlie munger 😂
I have tendencies to seek validation, appreciation, approval of others and its very extreme, very. Is there anyway i can leverage this to build my smma?
Hey Charlie, i am from Austria. Is it possible to join your course then?

Hello Charlie, I have marketing agency and I am stuck right now. So I do cold calling as my outreach and my niche is dental. So how should I bypass the gatekeepers like they always ask me why you called and when I say I want to talk about buisness or it’s a sales call or something they just say they are not interested and never let me through so what advice can you give me about this???❤
Volume, Volume, Volume
Try other outreach method
I was stuck in dental, honestly, switch niches bro
Would you consider having feelings for someone a distraction?
I feel like when people have feelings for someone it takes a large amount of their thoughts.
and if you think it is, when is that an alright distraction, when you feel you have met a potential wife?
Money can't buy love!💜😉🤘
Its a matter of priorities. Its important for you? Would you be fine to dedicate a lot of your time to that someone and because if that risking to fail in your business?
Also what a lot of time means?
2-3 hours day is fine. Is a distraction yes but as many successful people said you need to learn to be present. If you are working focus on that, if you are with your wife focus on that and leave work for the working hours. Meditations helps with that
Having feelings is a complete distraction if you do not take any action. If you are going to just have some major crush without having the guts to actually ask them out, it is 100% a huge distraction. However, if you ask them out, it will actually have positive effects whether or not you are rejected. If she says yes, the masculine nature is to provide, and from experience it will give you a huge boost in drive to work. If she says no, you will gain a lot of sadness which is actually extremely helpful to transmute and turn into energy to work.
@@reidjcsn agree with most of what you said but us women "can" and "do" provide for ourselves. It's also in the female nature now...think the child rearing should be split 50/50.....we've moved on. Plus no amount of money in the world could replace good times with parents. Kids would rather be loved and poor rather than rich and neglected.
@@reidjcsn This is so accurate couldn't have been said better. When a man finds a truly good woman it awakens an instinctive need of self improvement and drive to be able to protect and provide for her. Just visualizing your ideal life with her in the future (family, house, kids) and knowing your business can take you there will make you get up and work for it.
How did you transition away from gaming so much?
just stop. there is no secret. just sell your pc. your console. its simple.
Great video but you misquoted the jack of all trades. The full saying is "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but often times better than a master of one." Which contradicts the point you were trying to make, which is that you SHOULD be a master of one. "Jack of all trades. Master of life." - Luke Belmar

Charlie lets be real, filling your brain with trash to not think about your goal is not the most effective way of resting your mind.
