I am fascinated by how Tsumugi calls her dad. I think the way she pronounced "Otosan" is just so cute and unique which is why I made this video.

It's gonna sound like a broken record. But, I heard that she is really voiced by a child voice actor. She was 10 at the time of this recording. That's why it's so natural.
It sounds better in my opinion. They should really hire more child actors

Not gonna lie as annoying kids can be i miss baby sitting them. They'll hit you with the most funniest stories/acts
I use to babysit 5 babies now they're all in school and a few are entering middle school. Crazy how fast time flies.

As i remember babysitting a kids even only three of them it does really testing my mentality and i even almost lose it and yeah i try not to babysitting them to avoid it.
I used to babysit my cousins when they were babies and now they're almost high school. I never say it, but time does fly by fast and it makes me wanna cry lmao
Bro, exact opposite, had to babysit my nephew for a full year because of the pandemic, never going to have kids. Had multiple mental breakdowns and still do because of that, made a decision to never have kids
As a former child I conquer that kids can certainly be annoying. And yet they are also so random and charming and funny.
This anime really shows the realism of being a single parent. He knows he’ll never match up to the wife but he tries so hard to be the best parent in his own way possible.
This heals my corrupted soul and gives me a bit of hope in the future

I've never teared up so much from a series that's has almost 0 drama. So many moments that pull at ur heart strings especially the last couple chapters in the manga.
Tsumugi's dancing is like the sun soaring across the sky.
Fun fact: in Filipino, "otosan/utosan" means "man servant"

Most anime brats are unbearably annoying and filled with questionable fetishes, but Tsumugi looks like it was drawn by someone who actually has kids.
Not only that, but the sad subtext actually gives her a three-dimensional personality.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this anime other than a healthy slice of life, but it really made me cry.
Just 30 second watching this already made me burst into tears. I feel so sad for her to lose her mother while doesn't even understand that her mom is already pass away.

I never watched the anime but I did follow the manga.
I looked it up in the old Crunchyroll app when I was in middle school and finished it in highschool.
It's one of those stories that you don't forget easily, I hold it dear in my heart and I recommend it 100%.

Came from finishing the manga, unfortunate that the anime only covered the first 1/3 or 1/4 of the story.... wah my heart 😭, watching tsumugi and everyone was incredibly heartwarming and sweet. One of my favorite down to earth wholesome slice of life stories, so underrated
