Why doesn't The New York Times go to Armenia to show the war from their perspective? Not a single Islamic nation has raised its voice there. Food and electricity were cut off in Nagorno-Karabakh, and suddenly, they all have humanity in them. While there has been recent criticism of those taking the position that Israel is committing GENOCIDE against Palestinians, there is a long history of human rights scholarship and legal analysis that supports the assertion.
Prominent scholars of the international law crime of GENOCIDE and human rights authorities take the position that Israel’s policies toward the Palestinian people could constitute a form of GENOCIDE. Those policies range from the 1948 mass killing and displacement of Palestinians to a half century of military occupation and, correspondingly, the discriminatory legal regime governing Palestinians, repeated military assaults on Gaza, and official Israeli statements expressly favouring the elimination of Palestinians.
GENOCIDE is a term that has both sociological and legal meaning. The term GENOCIDE was coined in 1944 by a Jewish Polish legal scholar, Raphael Lemkin. For Lemkin, “the term does not necessarily signify mass killings.”
He explained:
"More often [GENOCIDE] refers to a coordinated plan aimed at destruction of the essential foundations of the life of national groups so that these groups wither and die like plants that have suffered a blight. The end may be accomplished by the forced disintegration of political and social institutions, of the culture of the people, of their language, their national feelings and their religion. It may be accomplished by wiping out all basis of personal security, liberty, health and dignity. When these means fail the machine gun can always be utilized as a last resort. GENOCIDE is directed against a national group as an entity and the attack on individuals is only secondary to the annihilation of the national group to which they belong."
What particularly impresses me about the Palestinians, among other things, is their children. They are small, reasonable people, with the attitude, character, and expression of adults. Living in an endless war makes their souls mature before their bodies

Why doesn't The New York Times go to Armenia to show the war from their perspective? Not a single Islamic nation has raised its voice there. Food and electricity were cut off in Nagorno-Karabakh, and suddenly, they all have humanity in them. Why don't they accept Palestinians to take refuge in their country, as people from Nagorno-Karabakh seek refuge in Armenia? The same goes for Ukraine; they are heartless people. Israel is just as responsible for this conflict as Hamas is. Give the Palestinian people a state rather than oppressing them for decades, and there will be peace. Or at least a much stronger likelihood for it than there is right now.

These poor kids have had to endure so much pain and injustice at such an early age. It's traumatic for them, their parents knowing they can't help, and especially those who might be related abroad unable to assist. Here from the global South, and as someone who identifies as liberal, the NYT stands exposed of being a propaganda outlet of the likes of RT and Al Jazeera - relentlessly advocating for war and for Israel in conjunction with US foreign policies, along with a very strong dehumanization element when it comes to reporting on Palestinians - especially considering that they have not only suffered the most in the current war, but also are an oppressed and enslaved people by those of European origins. Sure they'll put up appearances like this short video once in a while in the interests of "balance", but it's a laughably absurd proposition to call the newspaper fair or reasonable. I can also see why the US invaded Iraq with zero opposition from Americans.

They also kidnapped some of the Israeli children that are now away from their parents. Please watch the news in Israel and hear what the Israeli children evacuted as well from their home because Hamas is still sending rokets to Israel country, hear what they have to say.

I think it’s because the violence isn’t balanced at all. We can agree that hamas shouldn’t have killed innocents, but now Israel is doing the exact same thing but even worse. If you look at total death tolls it is clear that Israel always kills more innocents.
