I keep a small 3×4 booklet nextto where I sit & watch utube videos on junk journalling. I jot down EVERYTHING I want to remember---a glue name, website, paint name, book, quote, instructions, etc. I sometimes put some of the information into a more permanent place, but keeping a small book handy will reward you many times over.

This is a great idea, I also keep a journal of all of pam ideas, as pam makes them on utube, I make them as well, then I slip into plastic pockets into a ring binder and can look back at what was made on that utube. Thanks for sharing.

I keep document files on my phone. I keep one for things I'm looking for in thrift stores. I keep one for ideas...etc. I can send to my emails as a PDF and can download to my computer and print. Keeping lists and ideas on my phone makes it easier to keep up with. I lose my written notes so much. 😊

I miss your older videos where we just simply craft along with you for an hour while you experiment with techniques and trying things that pop into your head. I still love your videos now, but it was nice when it was just us, you, and the paper supplies for the whole video and you lost track of time. Kind of like having a friend over to make beautiful things together. I find myself gravitating toward the videos where people show what they are doing without turning most things into a tutorial or “how to.” This is not a criticism, just sharing. ❤ Love your chatter and Sunny’s pupdates! Also, I never hear Holly and the lovebirds anymore, did their cages get moved? 😢
Bless you, Pam, for trying to keep up with this crazy world! Hugs to you, Papa, and the menagerie!

" The Season's" by Louis Lawrence compiled 1887-1890, first published 1981. This book has beautiful drawings, the poetry is very much from the 19th century perspective. The script is beautiful and most art work is sepia. Over all a beautiful book for junk journaling.

(It’s a daily thing this summer. ☹️) I’ve found some great ‘picture books’, field guides, or ‘coffee table books’ on the big books shelf at local thrift shop. Half price day twice a year. 😁 Once I get past the gotta pet it and look at it phase (which takes a while) I cut ‘em up. 😁 Have a great evening everyone! ❤️

I found an old fish and game cookbook. It had old illustrations of every kind of fish! I'm using those in my own fish and game journal of my mother's and grandmother's recipes.

Dandelions are amazing. One of the few flowers that can be in bloom and going to seed at the same time. (Yellow flowers and the poofs). Also, all parts of the dandelion are edible. Roots, leaves, stems, flowers. (Not that the seeds would taste great… 😂) There are many flowers that look like dandelion that are not quite as desirable or simply not food, but the dandelion is.

@@48juicegirl awww, how sweet! You can sometimes buy them in the grocery store now, but man, I don’t think they water them enough cause they’re more bitter than the wild stuff! 😂

I use various AI graphic creators. For instance, I just got a STUNNING image of a robin using NightCafe. Prompt was super easy. "Watercolor drawing of a robin in the style of Edith Holden".

A Victorian Flower Album by Henry Terry. Some printings are a bit larger and in English only. It's been reissued in English and Japanese, a slightly smaller format. Kisses to Sunshine!

Thank you for sharing this book. I have such a hard time purchasing an Edith Holden original and then tearing it apart. They are much too expensive in my opinion to do that, just my opinion. Also, hard to come by as well. So, it is good to know there are alternatives. Have a nice day and stay cool

Just an FYI, during the depression my mother, as a child would gather cattails to eat. She said they tasted like corn.
