Haters can hate but Salah is still the key man in Liverpool's attack. 11 G/A in 9 games. Scores the winning penalty to take us top of the league, followed by a world class goal and assist to take us joint top in the CL. Our other forwards have been quality this season but he is still the go to man when you need a world class moment.
Fans must understand that we are not in the Jurgen Klopp era anymore, Arne slot style of play is different and we don’t need to attack all the game to win the matches, with Arne we got a lot of resilience. He’s a great tactician. He’s taking out the best technical abilities of the players ,we can play slow and use our technique. Don’t need to run all game with the risk of a high line defence mistakes.
Agreed that was a good assessment of the game! Alisson kept Liverpool on top at times and made key saves…playing out the back was slow and sloppy. Liverpool easy winners in the end but didn’t play that well by high standards

Controversially Paul it pains me to say it, but I just don't think we're that great at the moment. My fear is we're going to play a good team in the league &/or Europe & get absolutely battered. We haven't played anyone decent yet in the league or CL & being top after 6 games is fairly meaningless given the quality of opposition. Desperately hoping I'm wrong but I'm concerned as we generally lack fluidity & we're getting lucky a lot of the time against average sides. However, with all that said, we're by no means bad, it's early days & I fully appreciate you can only beat who's in front of you. Which for the most part, we're doing & long may it continue.
I don't want to temp fate, but I just don't think this is the sort of team that gets battered by anyone. They are just so good off the ball and starve the opposition of chances even if we are off our own game. we might lost to City, Arsenal etc but we will not get battered, and we could def beat either or both.

I agree massively with this. I've seen too much vulnerability against mediocre teams to think otherwise. The amount of times average teams are running through our midfield is alarming. And our passing under pressure isn't good at all.
