I just didn’t understand the hype- and for a vinyl bag. Now, I’m thrilled for the brother, in the same way I am thrilled for Tyler Perry! Congratulations on your success, I’m just not in to your handbags or movies… 😌 True, about the Versace platform Mary Janes!! The fabrics are luscious! The rounded square toe is too bulbous and not that attractive. One, truly, must pay attention to the scale of their body versus the scale of the shoe! Donatella Versace is releasing a pointed toe version, this year, that is far more attractive on the foot. I wonder how many wearers will find the pointed toe more appealing and abandon their square toe version?
Telfar has several other options. I thing people fail to realize that the Telfar bags are shopping bags, not purses. Lol! Mine don't look like the ones in the photos you showed so I'm assuming the newer bags are more structured than the older bags. I've put my gold XL bag to the airport test and it held up well. Lol! Those bubble slides are comfy, that's all I can sat about those 😂😂😂 Lastly, those Judith Leiber bags are for Beyoncé and Beyoncé types only!
I agree with you Brittany with the Telford bag! We appreciate black owned businesses, however quality should have been put into this bag. I never understood the hype over these bags especially for the price point.
I agree that what people see , people do. Purchase something because you love it and can see yourself wearing it multiple ways before buying. I love that TELFER has a variety of colorful bags. I did purchase the medium dark olive last yr and haven’t worn it . I think for people , who are just being introduced into luxury , Telfer should be their first purchased. Judith Leiber and Chanel is ridiculously priced, and my girl Alibaba has some great dubes as well. I wanted a Chanel bag but , I’ll downgraded in my head from purse to wallet. 💕Great review 💕.
I have to agree with the Telfar segment. I bought the medium one to use as a tote bag for work, and it’s actually perfect for that. I’m not thrilled about the quality of the faux leather, but overall it works for what I need. While I don’t see myself buying another, I AM looking at the hoop earrings as a more affordable option to the LV hoops. Now, I will be getting another BB bag.
I have the medium and use it for travel. It’s lightweight and the straps are fairly soft and comfortable. At this price point, I don’t really consider it luxury so it’s fine for me. I don’t have to baby it and don’t mind putting it under the seat on a plane.

I have the Telfar Handbags in Abundance at this point. I personally love them. The colors, the size, the ease, etc., BUT I do agree that the straps should’ve been removable. Still love the bag though.

While I agree that the Telfar bag is a bit overrated at this point, it is literally a shoppers tote. I think people should do their research on a bag prior to purchasing, it was called the Bushwick Birkin, made for New Yorkers to carry their items walking around the city. It's an elevated tote bag, and ironically I wouldn't support Brandon Blackwood bags because they are cheaply made SheIn bags with crooked logos slapped on🤷🏾♀️.
I purchased 3 Blackwood bags and they are small. I would think for travel. I am a vintage bag buyer because I love originality and creativity. I just believe in getting more fir NY money. I can sale my vintage bags triple what I paid for them. #investmentpurchases

I'm glad somebody is saying it. I pre-ordered 2 of them last Fall, and I received them a month or so ago. They looked so cheap. I was soooo disappointed with the quality of those bags. I sold those things on Stockx immediately. I support other Black brands, and there are definitely better ones to support.

When you started talking about Telfar I was like girllllll you got the wrong one lol 😂 I remember when you bought the mini bag. The medium is better in my opinion. It’s good for carrying lots of things,, to work and so one..and DEFINITELY get a metallic color. I think you would love that cobalt blue… I got a copper and bubble gum… the copper is giving and looks wayyyyyy better as far as material than the light colors. I haven’t even worn the bubblegum because I didn’t really care for the material. 😩 it’s been sitting in its bag for months lol 😂 I will say that with you being shorter I understand the long strap not working for you!
Luxury items I refuse to buy-the Bottega Puddle boots, Baccarat Rouge 540 (EVERYBODY LOVES IT and I just don’t get it! Thats so weird about your experience with Telfar. My bag definitely feels like leather (faux leather) and I'm always impressed by the quality whenever I wear it. Also it keeps structure even after I traipsed around Portugal with it.

I thought they came out in 1989 and I love how Margiela went to Japan to study Japanese fashion and that's how he made those tabi shoes because they're inspired by the ancient Japanese socks. I feel like they've always been trendy as in, the fashion girls and boys always had them since they came out back in the late 80's lol. Tabi boots are quite comfortable, unless they're stitched wrong (i had to exchange pair of my Tabi boots once) or worn with wrong socks what's been happening to Loro Piana is same as Bottega Veneta, next thing you know they'll be making ugly slippers or dad sandals too😹 i refuse to buy any pumps or any kind of shoes that are uncomfortable & bags that are too heavy

I purchased them from MissLola and Amazon. Gurl I normally don’t wear super high heels but these…What I like about them is your foot is not angled like an average high heel, it’s like wearing a slide. I brought almost every color🤦🏾♀️❤️
I stand by most of these critiques from the hideous cow hoof boot to the low quality in Telfar items. I love the Judith Lieber bags but I agree its best for those with a large, disposable coin because you can't get as much wear out of them unless you have a more campy style.

I'm not mad at the Telfar opinion. I didn't get it at first. I have a mini one and love it for the pop of color. I agree with the long strap connected - I don't like that. I also have a medium but don't like the long strap at all. I prefer it with the top handles only. Telfar has come out with a few other designs but I'd still like to see more variety with the designs.

I think you would love that cobalt blue… I got a copper and bubble gum… the copper is giving and looks wayyyyyy better as far as material than the light colors. I haven’t even worn the bubblegum because I didn’t really care for the material. 😩 it’s been sitting in its bag for months lol 😂 I will say that with you being shorter I understand the long strap not working for you!
Luxury items I refuse to buy-the Bottega Puddle boots, Baccarat Rouge 540 (EVERYBODY LOVES IT and I just don’t get it! MFK makes other great scents IMO), anything Yeezy (Say I INSIST ON SPENDING $5K TO LOOK LIKE A RAGGAMUFFIN without saying I wanna look like a raggamuffin)…I think Telfar should do the Round bag in genuine leather and offer it in as many colors as the Shopper.

Thats so weird about your experience with Telfar. My bag definitely feels like leather (faux leather) and I'm always impressed by the quality whenever I wear it. Also it keeps structure even after I traipsed around Portugal with it.

I thought they came out in 1989 and I love how Margiela went to Japan to study Japanese fashion and that's how he made those tabi shoes because they're inspired by the ancient Japanese socks. I feel like they've always been trendy as in, the fashion girls and boys always had them since they came out back in the late 80's lol. The tabi reebok look really cool too, it's like a modern modern version of the the one he made back in the day
Tabi boots are quite comfortable, unless they're stitched wrong (i had to exchange pair of my Tabi boots once) or worn with wrong socks

I feel you on the Telfar bags, they look worn in no time. I don’t own any but just seeing them on the street, I wasn’t impressed. The satin platforms, I love! Mine are very comfortable. I purchased them from MissLola and Amazon. Gurl I normally don’t wear super high heels but these…What I like about them is your foot is not angled like an average high heel, it’s like wearing a slide. I brought almost every color🤦🏾♀️❤️

Omg!!! I agree with you about the Telfar bags. Anytime I see pictures of the bag, it looks so cheap, the colors are nice though.
I stand by most of these critiques from the hideous cow hoof boot to the low quality in Telfar items. I love the Judith Lieber bags but I agree its best for those with a large, disposable coin because you can't get as much wear out of them unless you have a more campy style.

I'm not mad at the Telfar opinion. I didn't get it at first. I have a mini one and love it for the pop of color. I agree with the long strap connected - I don't like that. I also have a medium but don't like the long strap at all. I prefer it with the top handles only. Telfar has come out with a few other designs but I'd still like to see more variety with the designs.
