We stayed at a cabin in Cosby a few years back. We ate breakfast at Carver's, but I guess they don't serve breakfast any more judging by their hours.

I love places like that. I am lucky I have 7 farmers markets within a 20 mile radius from me, there’s nothing better than fresh fruits and veggies.

Glad you all finally made it to Carvers. We go there every fall during our annual trip to the mountains,and stock up on apple butter, jellies and jams.

YEAH! We LOVE Carver's, the store and the restaurant are so good and it's such a lovely view from your table. I knew you'd get a fried pie, they are fab! They use to give you apple fritters with applebutter and a apple cider sample. Fried Chicken there is very good! If they sell those fritters buy them next time and the apple butter is soooo good, we always buy some! We have even rented a cabin in Cosby, it is so quiet and nice and the entrance to the park there is very pretty! We have yet to visit the candy store, that looks so good! Hi Big T you are so sweet!!! Thank you two for your videos they are so very enjoyable!

Love that place! I love all the Amish goods. We bought a lot of apples there two years ago and some apple cider and a bear tore open the back of our truck that night and ate a lot of our apples and drank my whole jug of apple cider!!
Beautiful place just off 321, I believe you mentioned Cosby was down the road. Food looked great. Mike, maybe they need some of your seasoning’s you put on your smash burgers for their chopped steak. Also the cut of meat used makes a huge difference in the taste of beef. Thanks for sharing the video, I loved riding the roads, nothing more beautiful than open country, All My love

We went to an orchard very similar to that with restaurant and market near Blue Ridge Georgia. Can’t remember the name, though. Great memories.

Our very first visit there the food was great. Our subsequent visits have been OK. We enjoy going to Carter's whenever we're in the Smokies, sort of like tradition with my wife and I. Thanks for sharing your day with us. Keep 'em coming!

Couple of other places you might want to try out just down the road toward Newport. Great country cooking place called Janices and then right across the way from there is a great little campground called Triple Creek check it out. We have stayed and ate there many times, and been to the orchard love it.😁 12:33

There are some really joyful channels on RUclips that have people from certain countries that try other people's countries food. I am sure you have seen them. There is one in particular called "Tribal People Try". These people need to come to your neck of the woods! They would need to stay a while!!!

Love carvers being from Cosby sucks they don’t do there apple fritters anymore where the best in the smokies we go every time we come up to see my parents and family the fried pork chops are to die for
Really love ya'lls videos & enjoy them so much...so ready for yall to turn that van around & go "downeast" NC for some great bbq, seafood, & beaches...BUT UNTIL THEN, maybe ya'll can be "lured" to Sims County BBQ in Granite Falls NC. They have a buffet on Fri & Sat nights with bluegrass & gospel music...would love to see a review! Ya'll Take Care 😊

We love Carvers! Make sure to try the apple fritters and apple butter next time. You can't go wrong with the fried chicken and the bbq or catfish. Say hey to Brooks Aunt Alma Lou in the candy store! We always pair a trip to Carters with a drive along the foothills parkway just down the road. ❤

i used to could eat beans my mom would cook hers and put pieces of pork loin in them but as i have gotten older they hurt my stomach its sad cause i love them
