Black panther and Luke Cage were black superheroes. With blade, it was a superhero movie with a character that just happened to be black. I went in to that movie with my buddy that was also black. I don't remember EITHER of us goin "yeah wow he looks like us! Awesome"! That comment pissed me off cause while other black superhero movies kinda made a point to point out the character is black, blade for the most part, blade being black wasnt really a thing for ANYONE watching the movie.
