The comments on here are pissing me off. Just so you people know, Perry Farrell is one of the best rock singer/songwriters of the last 30 years. He took alternative rock from college radio to mainstream before grunge hit. He and his band showed that you can be artsy and still rock hard. He's a god damned legend so show some respect.
I haven't read anyone say anything bad about him.

Bowie was cool. There's some no name band that never made it, I can't remember their name, but one of the members tells a story about how he wrote Bowie a letter and asked him to play sax on their record and gave him a place and time. It's like writing a letter to Santa or something. And Bowie actually showed up out of nowhere with his sax. lol. They were astounded. He played sax on the record and they asked him if they should sign a contract so he could get paid or whatever, and he said something like "nah, don't worry about it." Then he just ducked out and they never saw him again.

I can so relate to Perry's tales of seeming to always say or do the wrong thing when you meet your "Heroes". I met my favorite guitarist in the world at the time Mick Ronson in a little bar in Pheonecia, NY a little hamlet outside of Woodstock in 1980 I guess it was. Mick's widow Suzi Ronson had a cool band which she led, playing guitar and singing lead called Arabesque. They were opening for the Tom Pacheco Band on one snowy night and before the music started I walked up to Mick and said this: "Hey Mick, I'll bet you that you and I are the only two people in this bar that have BOTH of your solo albums" IOW meaning : I'm a huge fan. At which point Mick's face gets this angry scowl of slit eyes and gritting teeth through which was coming some unintelligible growling words, I seriously thought the guy wanted to hit me. LOL That kind of stuff used to happen to me wheneever I'd happen to meet someone famous.

I have been messaging Casey Niccolli. She won't respond to my messages but I know she reads them because it tells you when they are looked at. I wonder why she doesn't reply but I'm really flattered that she actually reads them.. I tried to message Perry on the same platform but he didn't read my message or if he did he didn't respond. He has it set up where you can only message once and he has to accept it or you can't message a second time. Casey's is not set up like that. You can message as much as you want. So far anyway, until she blocks me LOL. I'm not going to reveal the platform that I messaged her on. I don't want other people to message her and ruin it for me. I wonder how many fans like me message her. You would think a lot but I bet there aren't very many that do. I'd guess that maybe 2 or 3 every year. And they don't message more than 2 or 3 times when she doesn't reply. I've messaged 6 or 7 times. I even video called her by accident. I apologized profusely and assured her it was an accident and I would never cross that line. Which is the truth. It was a genuine accident.
